Very true, it would actually be sad if you stumbled in there and found out some guy you mostly agree with and really like to chat boxing with has nasty things to say about something that goes against you, or would literally have a problem talking to you personally. I’ve just gone a few times out of curiosity and just from reading the titles I just go back out lol.

The site would crash if everyone started talking about Jeff Horn, dozens of threads per minute 100’s of pages in a short timespan. It’d be chaos!

I got dubs for saying I read Game of Thrones a few years back. 0 exaggeration in that statement. Reason for dubs was "lording knowledge over the forum." Not kidding.

Yeah, someone who is still around but doesn't mod anymore.I complained to admin about that, got the dubs removed. I've been dubbed a couple of times over the years for silly stuff but to be fair, I at least technically broke rules for those. This was just someone being an asshole.

Not sure if you recall but there was a big deal about GOT spoilers when the show first came on. People were getting dubbed for asking about the book. I offered in the thread to answer questions people had in PMs, so they wouldn't get in trouble and got dubbed or it.

That show is such a let down for me. Really enjoyed those books but felt like the HBO show was softcore porn with a dumbed down story. Hate that that turd Martin decided to let HBO finish it.
