so you'd have to pay a subscription to a cable/satellite company, then pay a tv licence fee, then pay a fee for the card. thats gonna work a treat. not.

Not gonna lie; I don't care if they schedule the fights at times of my choosing, and call time when I want to take a leak - they can suck it if they think i'd ever PPV. It blows my mind that the UFC serve up this watered down, lazy cookie cutter shit every other week and people pay $60 for it.

Being spoiled lmao, we pay between £30 and £40 a month for BTSport itself, this is £20 on top of that which actually with conversion rates makes it as expensive, or even more expensive than in the US.

I don't see how the stupid ass execs aren't getting this. The $5 small fee wasn't a slap enough for the fools here. But I see how dumb they are all day, no surprise really. They could charge another $5 to have it in color and still no one would be wise enough to cut funding.

Just refuse to buy the PPVs. If revenue drops wholesale, they'll change their tune.

Oh, I've watched a stream or two in my time. I just want to further highlight how the ESPN-era UFC seems to be more concerned with gouging the existing fanbase than attracting new ones.

When you have a job and family then yes. Staying up until 6am to watch UFC is a fair trade for not paying for PPVs. We do still pay around £60 A month for the channel that UFC is on. UFC would die in a year if you Americans had to stay up to 6am and pay subscription for every card.
 
I'm sure people will buy it. They've been giving the fights cheap to the UK for a long time. At some point, they were going to open the profit gates. No matter how aggressive the UFC is with pricing etc, seems like it always works. I guess we'll see.

Ok, let me break it down for you. PPV used to cost $64.99, now it's costs $59.99 + $4.99......the same fucking price as before but you're also getting all the cool fight nights plus boxing.

UK fans on the other hand pay for Sky/Virgin a month + BT Sport on top of that and now they want to add £19.99 on top of everything, UK fans are not only going to pay more than US fans overall....they're also going to stay up till 6 in the fucking morning too.

I heard rumors Americans have to pay to. They dont give me free soccer why should they get free fights? Brits cant go see the fight event free so why get it free on TV? Is there some form of paid representation that the brits have to pay for?
 
As an American I have not much to say besides being a MMA fan in Europe is an absolute shit deal. At least the girls are hotter in many countries.
