Media UFC now forcing British fans to pay PPV fee to watch certain events on BT Sport

1 step closer to the door. It's almost like they hate customers.

Exactly. They never should have had it free in the first place. Typical British entitlement

By "free" do you mean paying around £40 a month for the channel it's on and now being asked to pay an extra £20 on top despite it not starting until 3am?

Typical American thinking they know it all.

Is this post about the UK, Great Britain, Wales, or England?

Fuck them. Let them decide on one name.

‘Merica!

Maybe if they discounted you guys in the U.S.
But they'll keep it the same price so u win nothing

<{yearp}>

My favorite is "it comes on at 3:00 so I shouldn't have to pay $25."

I wonder if BT took note of what ESPN is doing by trying to lock users into getting everything from them with their ESPN+?

What does basic internet cost in the UK and what are speeds like? Here, 100/10 speed is Spectrum cable's base speed at $70 a month for internet alone. They try to get people to bundle it with TV and phone packages but with just a basic TV package and promotions, it usually gets up to about $110. After the promotions end, it creeps up to about $130-140 with no premium channels and only the regular ESPN channels included. ESPN plus you have to pay extra. Some streaming options are cheaper.

Between £20 and £60 a month depending on what you get.

The big issue here is they force you into landline rental even if you dont use your landline. I pay £40 a month for 70mb/s but of that im forced to pay £13 for a phone line i never use.
