I just had a listen to this video by Dr Robert Epstein and it's very good, imo. I was only aware of some of this stuff that's going on but not everything, some of it is scary indeed.
He monitors Google and they must hate the guy!
He pops up on Tucker's show now and then although he isn't a Conservative and he voted for Hillary. He has been studying this subject for quite some time now and he's very good at explaining things, even to a dummy such as myself.

For those who do not like the fact that he's speaking at a right to life event don't worry about it, it's the message that's important.

The video starts properly around 4.55.

He mentions a film called The Creepy Line and really recommends it.

That's an unfortunate last name

Help me out TS.

Your OP gives the impression you watched the video and yet you provide no cliffs. Why?

Do you really expect everyone to watch an hour long video FIRST without even giving anything to them?

Is that the kidfucker?

The last name "Epstein" is the new "Hitler".

well, pretty much all the epstein jokes are taken. but the dude does endorse the creepy line

I literally don't know what 'you give no 'CLIFFS' mean, I don't speak American!
Did a search but obviously only got results about the common meaning of the word.
I'm presuming in this case it means i've not given enough information in my original post about the video content?

This guy has been investigating Google for years. Talks about the difference in search results between using Google as opposed to other search engines.
Also talks about how Google can manipulate users, and talks in more detail about this in regards to elections. Has some interesting and alarming stats on this too.
Recommends everyone get rid of Chrome & Android. Says that startpage.com search engine is the safest available and explains why.
I've been using Duck Duck Go for years but i've switched to startpage to see what it's like.
He suggests people try the Brave browser, [which i'd never heard of before] I've always used the Opera browser but have steadily been getting pissed off with it over the years so i'll give Brave a go as well.

Here is a much shorter video of him talking about Google's algorithms and it's influence. It gets stuck into the subject around the 2 minute mark.

"There has never been a mind-control machine ever in the history of humankind like the Search Engine."
He talks about how Google 'trains' us to think.

Do you know if start page uses a different algorithm to find results?

I ask, because I used duck duck go, until I found out they were using the same algorithm, giving the same results as Google.

In this video from around 6.10, Dr Epstein talks about Google's manipulitive results resulted in an extra 2.6 million votes to Hillary in 2016. He then discusses what this could mean in 2020 if all the tech giants are backing the same politician.

That's an unfortunate last name

"You see, Big Tech keeps their information, their secrets, on what's called a Spine layer. If any of this got out to the public, it could hurt many powerful people and companies. Now, the break of the spine, the cracking you see, could not have been caused by an internal calculation. Only outside intervention could have caused this crack."

What the hell does this have to do with well, anything?

Ive reluctantly stopped caring about the global surveillance and manipulation apparatus known respectively as the internet and intelligence/advertisement agencies. Nothings stopping it short of major calamity. Im not religious but the serenity prayer comes to mind. Scared? *shrugs*

I'm not sure what the point is. Is the point that Americans shouldn't be allowed to influence American elections?

I understand not liking what google's doing. I don't like it either. But I don't see how it's any of the the government's business unless conservatives are pursuing unethical efforts to use government power to censor Americans.
