I remember Dennis Kang and Luis Cane winning one fight then losing every other one. Jorge Santiago too.

Cung Le. If he were still around he’d be a good opponent for Anderson.

Kongo when he first came to UFC, everyone has short memories, but when he first came everyone on here was saying Big Tim is dead, has no chance, might as well hand the belt over and vacate it. It was bigger hype than Ngannou, I remember it well.. Kongo had some good KO's, then Kongo fought some fat wrestler who threw him around like a dolly and he had no clue how to stop the takedowns and didn't know what to do on the floor lol

He had 12 MMA fights. and a 6-fight winning streak at one point. He had his first MMA fight when he was 36. 17 Kickboxing matches with 12 KOs.

One of the hardest fall offs ever for me was Jens Pulver. He was the effing man. His drop off was hard, fast, and tough to watch. Still an all time great though. Maybe not appropriate for this thread but how he went from the absolute best to a journeyman (sort of) was painful

Used to be a fan of Abel Trujillo, was kind of a exciting prospect for a little while but never really got anywhere near the top.

Same thing with Gunnar Nelson although he got closer to the top.

Korean Superboy. Guy was the next big thing then started getting his ass beat.
