Khabib would walk from the UFC before ever getting stripped - he was ready to a year ago over and the UFC instead renegotiated

The optics would look quite bad, even though i dont agree with it. So i think he will be put into a corner. Conor doesnt have levarage in terms of deserving the title shot, but in terms of public perception being on his side, he's got a lot and it would be a really bad look for Khabib if the UFC wants to go this direction

But you should timestamp from 9.30, he makes some good points before you timestamped it.

I disagree with him on this one though. If Khabib beats Ferguson as many pointed out (Chael Sonnen talks about his for instance) there will be no doubt that Khabib is the greatest LW of all time. In that scenario I don't believe UFC will try to start a smearing campaign against Khabib or strip him. The smearing will just not work. How can you try and spin this story after he beat a killer on a 12 win streak in Tony?

I think if worst came to worst, they would give Khabib Gaethje and have Conor fight Poirier to actually earn another shot.
