Anyone else actually not that mad?

I'm more annoyed with the fans and Big Dan.

Fights are gonna play how they will. This is real, not scripted.

The truth is, this is how they match up. Different fights offer different looks. Could more have been done? Absolutely, but with Yoel's power and Izzy's countering ability, I'm not surprised and really not even that mad.

This was one for strategy, not non stop action.

It's hard to get mad when I didn't pay for the fight. That said, it would have been nice to see more engagement from both men. The antics were more amusing than the fight itself.

Exactly. If you've been watching MMA long enough you understand exactly what was going on, and you've likely seen worse.

I'm not mad, just disappointed that we could have had Costa/Israel instead of what we got.

It was a shit fight but I understand why it turned out like that.

The issue is Izzy and Yoel got on the mic afterwards acting like they were pushing the fight and the other guy was doing nothing the whole time, when in reality neither of them were willing to engage

Dude of course. The wild slugfests are nice, but a tactical war is way better, even if its a cold war. This one kinda reminded me of Aldo/Mendes 2, just so fuckin tense over 25 minutes. Plus, this one had Yoels awesome gamesmanship. Great fight. The better fighter won, even though the scores were whack.

I’m not surprised. Yoel did was he always does, nothing and then explode here and there. Difference this fight is he was facing a counter striker, so it led to periods of nothing happening.

Yoel was an absolute clown in the post fight and for large portions of the fight.

Bookmark this (Cause I'll probably never say this again) - The WMMA was the best way to end this card. It built up to a crescendo and even the missus watch the full women's fight and loved it... then we all get let down by a coward (Izzy) and a fool (Romero).

Not mad at all but I'll tell you one thing - Izzy can no longer question Jone's heart with a straight face after this fight. That river flows both ways.
