Dumb. People have to buy masks? The task force is saying cloth masks should be sufficient, so that should be enough. You can't expect everyone to purchase a mask when there is a shortage of them.
 
After the local news reported a lot of people lining up to get into fabric store that limited # of customers inside, the mayor orders them to close down even though they are selling stuff needed for people to sew their own masks. Seems lame, or they're helping Walmart's fabric/sewing dept.
 
if i were to speak honestly, i wouldnt mind 1 vs 2 bare hands against the gay couple of "machida + sakuraba" of the thread.
i would make them eat eachothers dicks, for my satisfaction… and most likelly their own pleasure, so it would be a win win for human kind.

Doesn't Disney own 20% of Vice? Anyway I watched the video and I'm thankful there is this sort of dramatizing of data mining so it doesn't get too bad, but I think life is more of a conspiracy than government wiretapping could ever be.

I wouldn't count on that. I hope to hell it doesn't happen but when gov't starts to lose control, things go to shit VERY fast. The scariest part of this pandemic is that no gov't is ever prepared for something like this, and who would expect them to be prepared for massive deaths, infrastructure, and economic collapse. Governments rely on creating a sense of control, once that starts to crack all bets are off.

You should be very concerned about the malcontents that 'hope' for a collapse. These are people that couldn't succeed in the most prosperous time in history, so they secretly hope for collapse because they think that will 'be their time'. I call these people 'shit-disturbers in waiting'.

Got people in emergency preparedness at highish levels. They have been systems in place for a pandemic for the last 4 years. Not long enough but long enough.
It'll be fine. You should see the scenarios they are ready for in the dod.

This administration has to be cojaled into doing what it needs to. But if it comes between what needs to be done best believe it will happen. Bumps in the road or no. Everything will be ok. Not fine maybe but ok. And again that's worst case.
 
Look maybe I'm just a dumbass (entirely possible) . Looking at the Worldometer stats for Just NY - things aren't adding up at all to what Im being told of Covid.

(rounding to nearest thousand)

total cases (active and with a an outcome) 189K cases (actual 188,694)

total deaths 9K (actual 9,385)

active current - 162K cases

cases with resolution - 26K cases that had a resolution

these are the raw fact numbers by Worldometer (a trusted source for info with little known bias)

So according to this after about a month of legit data collection.......

34.6% mortality rate on cases with a resolution

Even if every single active case lives in NY ...... Mortality rate would be 4.7-5% .

Obviously everyone in the 162 active cases won't all live and the likely MR is at least around 8-10% if not higher.

NOTE: New York has not had anyone that needed a hospital bed or ventilator go without - so people have been getting treated.

Everything I seem to see or read states the MR of CV19 is likely really around .5 to 2% in advanced countries maybe 3 to 5% in not so advanced countries.

WTF am I missing here? Either shit is a lot worse than reported, the stats are being manipulated severely , or Im just a dumbfuck who has no understanding of basic math.
 
How does it work in the US now, if you get the covid and end up in a respirator, do you/your insurance have to pay for that shit?
