Lol I thought of that as I was writing it

A lot of my threads definitely have that shitposting element

my posts are more serious tho

but I don't really give a shit about likes and going with the herd is the exact opposite of my personality.

My style in general is to challenge the status quo and has a tendency of creating enemies. Basically the opposite of what youd want to be an effective like whore. What is most popular and the group think that goes along with it can at times be the anti thesis of truth.

Honestly my posting is kind of hard to pin down. I give so many different looks from day to day. Way too layered to fit in those parameters.

but I do like to shitpost lol. Different sort of thing than what I described tho

Yes really. When I go to my profile page and search for all threads only the ones from the last week show up...

I got into a conversation a while back where I voiced my points on what benefit likes had. But I can't find it anymore cuz we can't manually scroll through our old posts and the search function shat itself a bit ago and hasn't returned in full effect yet.

The only reason i can think of why likes are still here is because whitout them activity on these boards would drop significantly because People wouldnt have a reason to post all those shitty posts.

This forum is the only reason why sherdog is still around and without all those post whores roaming these boards for a like they will lose alot of revenue
