Yea he deserves it, he has apparently said racist things before and this further proved it
Yea he deserves it, he has apparently said racist things before and this further proved it
He said someone who was proven to be openly racist wasnt racist because he hired blacks. He probably should have been fired back then but he is a nobody. He just fucked around with a popular player this time and got caught up in his trolling. Bye bye
Right, but Orwell defined fascism much more strictly than today's left does. I don't think he'd see fascism in most of the places we complain about it today, whether left or right.
and still no answer.
Yeah, that's why I'm a HUGE fan of his.Orwell with his opinions would probably be deemed a secretly Trump-loving dark web alt-right enabler these days, by some of the most vehement and easily outraged left-wingers. He criticized his "own" as much as he criticized the rest. He didn't really give anybody an easy time. Some of his most stinging criticisms were against Communists and air-headed left-wing "intellectuals". Obviously, Nazis and right-wingers received their share, too.
It seemed that one of his base beliefs was to be able to see through one's own bullshit as much as anybody else's. He didn't have much time for the people who didn't.
No, it isn't. Saying all lives matter is not tantamount to saying that black lives don't matter. It is rallying around a positive affirmation, which extends to black lives, that all lives matters. It achieves this while simultaneously signaling repudiation of the claims, policy proposals, and/or rhetoric of the black lives matter movement.
I want all of you to be clear. You all are issuing rhetoric in this thread that appears to defend or justify this action.
To each and every one of you-- do you support this man's suspension? Do you support firing him?
If not, then can you bring yourselves to acknowledge this is wrong, and condemn it?
Yea i dont get thr outrage here. If a black employee came up to you right now and said hey Chad what do you think about the BLM protests going on and you said ALL LIVES MATTER, you're getting firedI am certain that when people use "All lives matter!" as a retort, they are trying to counter the original statement. All lives SHOULD matter.
Haven't watched the video, don't know the guys history, don't really care about him getting fired. If you say something that your employer doesn't like, you are fired. That's spokesperson life for you. Hell, it's even true for for us regular folks now... if I go run my mouth on facebook my company can fire me.

He already tried to apologize and resigned, but again he has history pushing the line . He said donald sterling wasnt racist (nba owner who was outed for saying racist shit on recorded conversations) because he hired blacksAnd if he meant anything different by it I am sure he would have apologized and explained what he meant.
Don't be sad. You had a 150 years reign as the world's most prosperous nation.Welcome to America 2020. It was a good run while it lasted.
All lives matter is code for black lives dont
Okay, this is what I expected, and what I wanted. This is your opinion. You explicitly assert it isn't wrong.
Thus, you defend suspending/firing a person for tweeting this:
Okay, two down. Six more I quoted to go.
We're going to find out who the real bullies are in the forum, today.
Mick, they are just going to attack you for making sense, whats the point? They obviously are extremely brainwashedNo, it isn't. Are you guys trolling? Or are you seriously discounting that this man may be a racist?Mick, they are just going to attack you for making sense, whats the point? They obviously are extremely brainwashed
I enjoy that there are a lot of like-minded people from my area, that's pretty reassuring especially with the political climate on here
Yes. All live matters is the go to response from white nationalists and racist cops.
Napear also: He previously generated criticism when he suggested disgraced former Los Angeles Clippers owner Donald Sterling could not be considered racist because he employed black people.
Dude is a dumbass, tone deaf and deserves what he got with the current situation. Players are more important than a non name broadcaster who generates zero revenue for the team
Both of you are are unequivocally asserting that to say "all lives matter" is white supremacy or white nationalism.Good. Fuck that guy's white supremacist signaling.

Nobody has produced a single racist comment by this man, ever.He already tried to apologize and resigned, but again he has history pushing the line . He said donald sterling wasnt racist (nba owner who was outed for saying racist shit on recorded conversations) because he hired blacks
I work for a fortune 500 company. You don't really think someone would get fired in that instance, right? And you don't think they should, right?Yea i dont get thr outrage here.
