No clue lolHey serious question since it seems like you dont dislike me how come everyone does is it because I call them ou ton there bull shit as in 10k Parlay to win 30k and I asked if he was gonna hedge and then he laughed at me and said I dont know what little money you gamble but Im not gonna hedge a 30k parlay bet lol Ok sorry mr. baller
No clue lol
I’m betting in reais which is peanuts when compared to dollars. 30K US$ is more than I make a year. I’m rolling out like 100R$ an event, which is 20 dollars more or less.
Some people also don’t seem to get the EASY MONEY!!!!!! is meme-ish. Picks aren’t bad, though.
What do you mean? He attempted multiple subs on Frevola, and sweep him a couple times. Pena also tried to TD Frevola at the end of round 1 of that fight. Pena knew Frevola was a wrestler, it was probably his gameplan to beat him on the feat and take what he could get in the grappling game. When Pena fought after that, against KO artist Steve Garcia, he pretty much went for all grappling approach. So when he has the grappling advantage, he will for sure push it
Round 1 was maybe 90 seconds of grappling Against the cage/wrestling on the floor. Pena never once attempted to grapple until Frivola did which is why I said Pena fought him on the feet primarily. And of course Pena tried to take him down because Frivola landed a takedown and Pena was trying to settle the score.
All I’m saying is I think Violent Bob Ross might* stand and bang with Khama.
IIRC Pena apologized after the last win for it being a boring decision so maybe we get a kickboxing fight.
I’ll be live betting this fight and playing Pena’s sub prop and Worthys KO prop If juicy enough
I got perry by dec
Yeah we'll see. I think Pena is too smart to stand and bang with a guy who can finish himRound 1 was maybe 90 seconds of grappling Against the cage/wrestling on the floor. Broe, Poirier is fighting southpaw. Hooker's jab won't be as effective when they fight opposite stances, I think. + He'll have to be even better at staying at range because of the smaller octagon. When Hooker is fresh his jab is really good and he uses his range very well.
Dustin's stance and knack for fighting inside the phonebooth make me think a counter knee ko is very likely.
Sounds right to me.Mmm i think poirier 100% wins if it gets to a dec, no way hooker wins a dec. However, i think dustin finishing hooker late is way more likely. If hooker wins, it's cause he put dustin away.
If i play dan, i'll go with his ko line actually. Poirier won't last long if he's hurt.
I don't know about that. His path to victory is the KO, not the wrestling. He doesn't have any edge in wrestling over Dustin IMO. If I were him I would try my hardest to stay at long range and hopefully eventually making Dustin resort to leaping forward, so I can counter him with hard shots to take him out. Dustin's closing the range is not very good as it is. If Hooker doesn't just give away the pocket this fight could be very interesting.I don't see Hooker winning unless he somehow becomes an amazing wrestler and wrestlefucks dustin.
Calvillo was very unexperienced with her volume boxing style at the beginning of her UFC career. She did a lot of movement for the sake of the movement which tired her ass out. She doesn't do that now. Not as much at least. And her wrestling was pretty much just catching kicks, which often left her having to stay on her feet more than she wants to be. This is the answer to why she doesn't get tired as much now IMO.man, i know it seems counterintuitive at times, but it seems that going up in weight class gives fighters an increase in "agility". u would think the extra weight slows them down, but the reality is them not having to cut weight gives them more gas overall. calvillo is a great example as she would gas in 3 rounders, while she looked great vs eye in 5er.
You are right, Burge. There is no value in Perry at -300. I don't care how better competititon he has fought, or how hard he hits. Fighting with no coach and essentially training yourself is absolutely dumb and nobody in their right mind should consider betting on guys like that (with this pricetag).Small cage + Perry being an idiot and using no coach. Advantage Gall, he's not trustworthy but how anyone could bet Perry at -300 I'm not sure
As long as the Easy Money stuff is in the official bets thread it's algHey serious question since it seems like you dont dislike me how come everyone does is it because I call them ou ton there bull shit as in 10k Parlay to win 30k and I asked if he was gonna hedge and then he laughed at me and said I dont know what little money you gamble but Im not gonna hedge a 30k parlay bet lol Ok sorry mr. baller
He fought Gilbert BurnsSome more thoughts on Poirier vs. Hooker:
Hooker never actually faced such a hard puncher like Poirier. The closest thing was Felder. But Felder isn't a guy who will string multiple punches together. A lot of this is because "his feet in the mud" footwork isn't allowing him. Unless Poirier has regressed a lot, or comes very unprapared, I don't see Hooker winning this fight. This should be "there are levels to this game" type of win for Dustin.
Hooker can definitely win a decision, Poirier slows too. I think the counter knee is there so Poirier needs to be careful. I'm curious what stance Hooker fights in, if he's orthodox he's going to be trying to hand fight and keep Poirier on the outside and pick away at range then look for the knee or straight right counter when Poirier pushes in. I think it's likely he comes out southpaw though and attacks Poirier's calf, Hookers come out and fought largely southpaw in fights before like with Barboza (him getting wrecked is irrelevant before some degen comments it) and Hookers comfortable fighting from that stance. Last time Poirier faced a southpaw was Miller who was dropping him with calf kicks and had Poirier in trouble in R3. Going for that is the kind of tricky gameplan City Kickboxing loves to go for.
Poirier getting inside and boxing him up won't surprise me at all though, Hooker's defence gets very sloppy.
Yeah if he can't keep Poirier on the outside he's going straight back to orthodox. Attacking the inside leg kick won't surprise me at all either, from whatever stance he's going to chop down Dustins legs.hooker is definitely more comfortable orthodox and didn't switch when he fought jim miller. i think he attacks the inside leg kick like gaethje did.
Dam Doc R you keep liking all my post dont worry man Im not a stuck up like some of the posters on here you can ask me a question if you like I wont bad mouth you like all the other people on the board if you disgaree with my bets lol.
Thanks for like 5 likes in a row
This is why people get annoyed with you and 2 others on here...you make 1/3 of the posts on any given fight thread without saying anything...please keep the nonsense down on here as well as only post bets on the bet forum. Not trying to be a dik but its true
Not analysing this event much
I will play this parlay only
Luis Pena- Kama had a lucky punch in last fight. Pena is better everywhere
Perry- Mike will smoke Gall, probably itd
I will eat my dogs food if Mickey wins lol
Hooker- will be close but Dustin is coming from surgery and a loss.
Dan is on 3 fight win streak , better reach and ko power
I hope he finds Dustins chin in some moment of the fight and wins by KO
I think Maverick wins a decision. Borella is on a 3 fight losing streak and honestly, the competition in wmma isn't deep. Maverick has a little nice win streak in Invicta and I can't see the talent pool being that far apart.what are people thinking miranda maverick vs mara borella?
Maverick is the younger fighter who is better on the ground but borella has more experience and is probably on the way out if she loses this one. I think Maverick takes it but will it be by sub or decision? I'm thinking it goes the full 3 rounds.
Thats true, but thats the only dog I like from this card.Dan has 2.5in reach advantage and beat 3 <average fighters in a row.. not that impressive imo.
