We need to get back to our senses and realize that Chito was absolutely f***** before that injury

Did Chito beat Sean fair and square? Yes.

Did Chito plan for that exact injury when throwing that technique? Idk, probably not.

Does Chito deserve credit for his victory? Absolutely.

Does Sean have a problem with his joints/nerves/ being injury prone? Idk, I hope not.

From what we saw, did Chito stand much of a chance before the injury? Absolutely fucking not.

Sean was toying with him and showing how much better he is on the feet until that injury.

It's easy to kick a man while he's down but if O'Malley can recover properly and not have anymore injuries, he will be champion or at least be at the top of the division.
No idea what fight you and the 3 posters who liked this lame post were watching.

Probably would have gassed got gotten fucked up eventually.

I'm so glad you know how a fight would end because you were under the impression that your boy was dominating the fight, even though he wasn't.

Can you please name the moment that Chito was in trouble and wasn't coming back from that point on? Because I don't remember him hurt or in trouble at all. Sean was more aggressive, but was also using more energy in doing so. What says he wouldn't have faded later in the fight and got stopped?

We don't know how it would've went. That isn't fact.

But fact is this... we saw, for a fact, that Sean's ground game is shit and got KO'd by elbows. That is fact.

Sorry, not sorry that your hype train got derailed and all you can do is cry about it.

How is this a fact exactly?
He injured his leg in a way that doesn't happen typically and basically fell over on his ass from the injury.

What makes you think the fight would even be on the ground if that injury didn't occur?

O'Malley's not "my boy" . I actually was pulling for Vera but I can't imagine a competitor being happy by winning due to his opponent having a freak injury.

If and when they run it back, I'll bet you my account that O'Malley beats him.

O malley did nothing.
Chito was walking him down.
O malley looked like he had no fucking clue what to do when Chito wasn't reacting to his feints. I was remarking that to a friend I was watching the card with.
This is what I saw and I like O'Malley
Vera seemed very prepared for what he brought to the table

Idk if the other dude replied, but I'll take that bet.

Edit: I'll say yes to it right now if they rematch within the space of a year. Past that point one of them could severely decline, there are too many variables to say yes past a year.
If it happens past a year, I'll still probably take it tho.

O'malley fired off some rocket leg kicks himself to begin with, I really think that was part of the problem.. And Vera was certainly reacting to the feints to begin with too, he stopped once it became a leg kick war and Vera was not intimidated by them(he's pure gritty), and then proceeded to walk him down once he gained the timing of the shots, and then eventually even more so once he knew Seans leg wasn't 100% right(which i'm fairly sure was earlier than most people think).

From what we saw neither had done all that much.

Sean was most definitely not "toying" with him.

Even if he recovers from his injuries I highly doubt Sean will sniff a belt.

Finally someone with some common sense. Sean wasn’t even able to close his guard with the injury which makes it extremely difficult to break someone’s posture to avoid ground and pound.

Vera goes to war until he catches someone and pours it on. Exactly what happened with O'malley.
O'malley is a sniper and Vera was taking everything thrown at him. Vera wins this fight everytime unless O'malley lands the perfect shot.
Rewatch some Vera fights. O'malley is not the kind of guy to beat him. He should of kept going after Cody. That was a winnable fight with his style.

I mean shit dude that was basically a freak injury even though Chito's kick caused it. I don't see that happening ever again if they fought 20 more times.
Except it's happened in 2 of O'malleys UFC fights?? This time he was fighting a higher level guy with great finishing ability.
Vera is a terrible match up for him. He needs someone he can land that kill shot on and avoid brawls in the future.
He is the MVP of the UFC.
