We need to get back to our senses and realize that Chito was absolutely f***** before that injury

The old Sherdog special, “he was winning until he wasn’t”

There are no "hype glasses" here.
Anyone with any knowledge of boxing/kbing or striking in general can see that O'Malley was setting traps, creating angles, making Vera bite on numerous feints, and landing a variety of techniques from both stances in the short time that the fight lasted.

It wasn't gonna end well for Chito. Yes , he won fair and square but I can't take anything away from that fight to tell me that Chito would win if the injury never occurred. If they rematch I've already agreed to bet my account on here that Sean beats him.

Just like "hype glasses "exist, "hater" glasses exist to and it's not fair to degrade a fighters skill set because their personality is unlikeable.

O'malley landed some good kicks at range and that's it.Vera stayed at the end of them until he landed that low kick. From there we saw what happened.

The only person I saw doing any feints, traps or similar was vera as he went for the kill.Commentators were trying to hype O'malley up. O'malley was blasting power kicks.
O'malley went into desperation mode and then got destroyed by G&P within 10 seconds. That fight goes on any longer and we see the exact same result.

O'malley is a sniper but that doesn't do him any good if he can't land that single shot. He will catch some people and get hyped up again, but I think he will always have trouble with someone he can't take out with that single shot.

Vera was a terrible match up for him and was meant to be a guy who would brawl. Unfortunately they forgot he is also a killer when he goes for the finish.
The weirdest part is O'malley screaming and holding his shin for an ankle injury?? I thought he had fractured his shin from a checked kick originally. I still think I saw a kick blocked on Vera's knee prior to the low calf kick, but I haven't re watched the fight.

Account bet? Your account is 2019. There is no risk in that at all.

I think O'malley will lose to anyone durable. He would already have a loss except for whatever Soukamanth was doing in that fight.
He will come in and knock a few people out before he gets Tko'd again. I think he will float around the 10-15 mark without fighting actual contenders until he gets beaten again when he steps up in competition.

Glass legs

Glass lungs

Hype job with stupid hair and a drug problem.

Appreciate it bro.
I have my moments for sure.
I just don't think it's fair to degrade a fighter's skill set because their personality is unlikeable. I'm not a fan of O'Malley as a person, but there's no doubt in my mind he beats Chito barring any injury.
I don't understand how people can't set their feelings aside and see how much more fluid ,accurate and better of a striker he is than Chito.
I don't know what's farfetched about me saying that.
I guess we just saw different things in that fight. I saw a guy who put good offence in the first 2 minutes, but once Chito stopped reacting to his feints O Malley looked lost.

I don't like O Malley, but he is a damn good fighter. I had a some money on him as well.
But I didn't like what I saw out of him, maybe it was because of a pre existing injury.

Everything was going well for him until the injury IMO. Once Chito saw him tweak his ankle or whatever that was the first time, he stopped biting on the feints.

Before then, he bit on everything.

I've rewatched the fight multiple times, and Chito landed almost nothing until he noticed that Sean's leg/ankle was compromised. That is the exact point when he pointed at Sean's leg, started backing him up, and started landing numerous kicks. Before that, he landed a total of maybe 3-4 shots or so... He was also biting on almost all of Sean's feints until he noticed Sean's leg/ankle problem as well. Sean didn't exactly capitalize on many of those feints, but he was certainly landing more kicks & harder kicks than Chito up to the point of Chito noticing the potential injury.
That is not an excuse at all for Sean's loss by any means. I am a fan of both fighters. But... for people saying that Chito was out-striking him or backing him up before he noticed Sean stumble and then roll his ankle, I have no idea what you were watching and suggest you watch the fight again.

So you can’t cite any actual numbers/results, just tossing out vague fight lingo cliches. Roger that.

Reacting to feints very early in a fight means absolutely nothing (at least not what you’re implying) as long as you are staying safe and getting a read on the other guy.

O’Malley was more active early and outlanded Vera by maybe 3-4 strikes but that is nothing spectacular and gives no indication as to how the fight will play out. To claim that one guy was outclassing the other this early in a fight is absolute nonsense and nothing more than rabid fanboyism.

To use a well-known example: Conor looked incredible for about 6 minutes vs Diaz ...and then he wilted and got finished.

Sean is an overrated hype train and Chito would win a rematch too. This clown show shit.

You need to get back your senses TS. Vera was the best and highest ranked fighter O'Mally ever fought. Sean also got injured in another fight from kicks so he seems to be injury prone.

He would have won if he didn't block those elbows with his face.. The Chito Show!

O’Malley isn’t a good fighter.
Why? Because he isn’t Russian?

I mean shit dude that was basically a freak injury even though Chito's kick caused it. I don't see that happening ever again if they fought 20 more times.
Considering that this is the second time he’s injured his leg, I think the chances are higher.
