Lebron's whiny facial expressions every time he doesn't like a call are as irritating to watch as almost anything in sports. That said, he's just a transcendent player. Other good players are drawn to him in part because of how great he is, but also because of his style of play. He is unselfish almost to a fault at times. He can play off the ball. He gives max effort defensively every possession (in the playoffs anyway). I guarantee when Lebron was selling the Lakers to AD he said something like "If you take 25 shots a night and I take 15, that's all good by me brother..."
if guys aren't lining up to play with giannis the same way, they need a reality check. i know lebron wasn't drawing talent like that to cleveland the first time around (larry hughes and antawn jamison were nice, but past their best) but that was then. player choice wasn't as popular. if i'm devin booker's friend, i'm looking for every reason to get that motherfucker to milwaukee

I would say the majority of people throw out false equivalents regardless of their political leanings tho. I don't necessarily think its more prevalent on one side than the other.

Conservatives, in general, throw out shit tons of false equivalencies. They fail to look at the context and details in situations.

The threads on here about rittenhouse and police shootings clearly shows both sides doing it as often as each other.

Once again you use conservatives in a very black and white terms again. Seems odd when you're telling people its not just a black or white. Yet you do it often. Seems contradictory to me. But that's just me.

A side question i know you watch Vaush , did you watch Tim Pool and vaush,? If so is it worth a watch?

Sure, but I am not talking about general people and general conversations. Throwing out false equivalencies is something anybody can do.
But when talking about politics, it is something that I see far, far more often from conservatives whenever there is some sort of political debate.

I didn't follow the Rittenhouse thread that much, so don't really know what the main debate was over. But I think the Rittenhouse shooting, the Biker that pulled out his pepper sprayed and got shot shooting, and the ANTIFA guy that killed a guy shooting were being wrongly lumped in together. They were being compared to one another because they were shootings at protests, but they all had important details that set them apart. I think the defenders of the Rittenhouse shooting were ignoring some key differences.
Maybe i'll make a thread about it if I think to later, but there are discussions on things like censorship, protesting, political violence, COVID response, etc, where conservatives routinely throw out arguments about liberal hypocrisy when the situations are not the same. And they'd only be the same if you had a totally black/white view of the world.

I definitely thought the Vaush/Tim Pool podcast was worth the listen/watch. It is 4 hours long though. I surprisingly watched it all. It was the first time I had actually listened to a full Pool show. Not the grifter that I thought he was, I came away from the show thinking that he is generally genuine in his beliefs....just very misinformed.

how come i am a progressive and i have never heard of this guy and he is being called a leftist thought leader?
likely for the 21 and under crowd. i'm 26 and most of these "streamer" celebrities are absolutely foreign to me.

dead cells is a badass game though

Ha ha I know! I watch him and a call doesn't go his way and like clockwork...

And I'm like "You are probably the second greatest basketball player ever to live. It is unbecoming for you to make these faces every time you don't get a call."

The one guy ever who's better than you has some advice, Lebron:

I agree, and there's only so many landing spots if you want even a chance at winning. Booker would be a nice fit. One of the better shooters in the league, guy can get buckets like few others. And the way the Bucks run their offense through Giannis, they need spot up shooters that will consistently knock down open jumpers. Bledsoe just isn't that guy. Middleton is obviously. Lopez has become a stretch 5 late in his career now. Dante was super inconsistent with his shot in the bubble. Booker would put SO much pressure on defenses with how Giannis collapses them.

Who's saying he was a leftist thought leader ? He's a pretty hard core socialist from what I was aware of.

lopez's pick and pop/protect the rim style is perfect for today's game. i expect he can play the way he did this year for almost the whole rest of his contract. dude doesn't have to bang down low for rebounds when he has giannis next to him (not that he ever did that much anyways). they can start lopez at the 5 pretty reliably, imo. like you said, versatile scoring is the key.

even something like a sign-and-trade with utah for jordan clarkson would be cool.

Ahh i just watched the video. Didn't read the tweets hah.

someone in this thread said it and used it to vilify the left.

Ahhh. Yeah I thought that mighta been it. Too many pages lol. I just recap the last 3 or 4 pages on huge threads each time I jump on sherdog.

My laziness, my bad

At this point, Trump deserves peak embarrassment and zero love on his way out.

No, he's not advocating for a fair legal fight, he's spewing bullshit and selling delusion. He's shared blatantly false tweets, his son has tweeted blatantly false videos, Rudy has said blatantly false things.

I mean just fuckin' imagine if Obama conducted himself this way in 2012 had he lost.

I hope Trump is dragged out of the White House and he shits his pants on the way.
