Romero is 43 and lost 4 of his last 5 UFC fights. He's in no way the best MW. I know you're excited about this, but no need to hype it way beyond what it is.
 
Awesome tournament! I'm finally excited about MMA again with this. I'm pulling for Machida and Nemkov. Either one winning is cool with me.

More like guys who DID make it in the UFC, but are now either aged or seeking easier comp. Put some respect on Machida's name at least. He went undefeated on the way to the belt.

I agree completely. Bellator insists on piggybacking off the UFC, which makes it hard to take them seriously.

You know why bellator really sucks? Cause everytime they get momentum with a few good cards they go away for a month and a half and no one gives a shit anymore. I like the switch to fridays though, that is a good move.

EDIT: TS Forgot the biggest news, that this is going to showtime! That is a big move for them.
 
Rumble will bring it and be aggressive no matter what. Impossible for that fight to be boring.

Well that'll be the interesting thing. Romero has a hell of a chin, so if Rumble's bombs don't get him out of there early will he crumble?

Though tbh I'm not sure Yoel will put the required pace on him to get the crumbling going.
 
This reminds me about the Pride bracket that was Pride Vs UFC. Only Jap bums for Wanderlei and absolute killers for Chuck.

Now here, on one side we have Bader against old Machida (so he can avenge that loss now that Machida is old), chinny Corey and an unknown dude. Rumble on the other side will face Romero straight away and then either Nemkov or Davis. Bader probably had to give Coker a blowjob for this bracket

This doesn't really look like easier competition, man. I think Jan Blachovich and Glover would get destroyed here and those are the UFC champion and the #1 contender o_O
