Tom Aspinall submits Andrei Arlovski GIFS

Don't know what Arlovski is doing that cage, better retire instead of losing like this. Arlovski was a great fighter, but can't fight forever.

Tom looks promising. I didn't like him going ham and burning out and his shot selection was shitty. He could have picked a few good ones and most likely put arlovski away. It definitely gassed him a little. Looked pretty explosive with that takedown.hes only young. He will most probably clean things up a bit.

Tom Aspinall is for real.

Andre could have fought the choke harder, but he's posting with his left arm and a ufc gorilla is under his chin cutting off the blood to his brain.

I love all the naga champs weighing in like "in my 8 years of BJJ rolling with soccer dads,"

I remember when we had a Bellator guy come train with us. It was eye opening the levels of grappling and just the levels of athleticism. That guy wasn't even that good.

Andre will keep sparring for dollars as long as Dana let's him.

the RNC was locked as deep as possible immediately. he wasnt expecting it and really had no escape from it at that point. you only have a few seconds once the choke is that deep.
It was an impressive performance by Aspinall more than it was a disappointing performance from Arlovski. His so-called glass jaw held up pretty well. Maybe too well.

He wanted out after the first two minutes. Aspinall beat him down in the first round, and the sub was a way out.

That's absolutely not true. Arlovski was game in the second and seemed genuinely angry at himself for getting surprised by that takedown and submission.

Arlovski is just not bothered about evolving.
He allowed Aspinall to get two steps ahead of him.
How you can be seated up against the cage and not post up the moment your opponent stands over you at this point of the game is quite frankly embarrassing.

He also got dragged in to a couple of fire fights, which he didn’t need to do because he held all the advantages in the feet. Other than that it was a good performance. He’s a real prospect

What’s the grappling equivalent of a glass chin?

Fast hands, confident and has shown a good takedown and submission. I like Tom, seems like a nice guy and is a decent prospect. Got to be him be Daukus next?

1st round flurry

I think he could have finished the fight if he didnt went to the body with the right hand and kept spamming hooks at Andreis head.

Still beautiful finish. This kid is surely a prospect to watch.

[/ QUOTE]
30 years as a fighter and he still a white belt....

He was done. Once he gave up his back and they’re both so fresh, the right was over.

Aspinall fights like a journeyman and it looks like Arlovski was fed to him.

Time to hang them up.

AA took the shots in the first round well and was landing good shots of his own. I thought he was going to start taking over the fight. I had the same reaction as he did when he got caught by surprise with the takedown and choke.... FUCK
