I think Crocop vs Stipe might be a toss up. I reckon Stipe has a style to push the pace against Crocop like Fedor did but Stipe is kinda chinny so not sure.

DC has only lost to Jones and Stipe. He doesn't lose to middle of the pack fighters like Cro Cop

I actually think he would. I do not trust Stipe's chin and Stipe's striking has looked good against mma fighters but he has never faced a striker of that caliber so I really think you'd see the gap if you saw them fight. Obviously, it's HW and anything can happen but I'd be surprised if Stipe won. I'm still very lukewarm on Stipe's career and feel that he is like a Chris Weidman type of fighter... solid but more a beneficiary of good timing than actual elite dominance

Prime Mirko was a bad matchup for Stipe. Phenomenal TDD, very good at stalling for stand-ups, great cardio and clearly the better technical striker. I'd definitely favor him but saying smashed is a pretty big claim. Stipe has great pressure and cardio and the wrestling threat is what got Mirko caught against a far inferior striker in Randleman. If I had to guess I'd say Mirko 7/10 but I've been wrong before so who knows.

Love Cro Cop but the man was massively overrated. He was routinely losing kickboxing and mma fights in between wins during his prime. Nice style, looked like an action figure, decent striker, not superman. Stipe obliterates him unless he gets eye poked.

Stipe is a terrible matchup for Mirko. He'd get boxed up and taken down at will, he won't see either the punches or takedowns coming most of the time because of how concerned he'd be about each, and he'd get mauled on the ground. Cro Cop's entire game revolved around his left kicks, Stipe would definitely plan around this and neutralize it. Nostalgia is just so blinding to people. Cro Cop lost the majority of his big MMA fights against elite opposition, kind of like Mike Tyson. Gane would beat him.
