There’s so many gnarly hits in Hockey, so much momentum right into another man’s head/jaw, crazy shit. Not to mention the gloves could drop at any time..

How is that charging? Schiefle is busting back to stop an empty net goal and then glides into the guy with the puck square in the middle of the body and stays on the ice.

Took a lot of strides before hitting him at full speed. Pretty sure Scheifele will get suspended for that. Not that.im happy,. I'm rooting hard for the jets

The charge can be argued.

I've been saying it was technically a clean hit, but it was malicious. Scheif knew what he was doing. He had decided 'screw the puck, I'm gonna level this guy' back at the blue line lol

A player attempting to stop a goal there would be sprawling out diving into the net with his stick out, not hit the guy after a sure goal.

Definitely malicious, he will get a suspension for it, but the technique itself was clean. If he was a second quicker with the hit he would have saved the goal.

I think technically it was a clean hit, but I don’t have a dog in this fight, my team didn’t make playoffs.
 
Skated 200 ft at 25 mph, wearing body armor and launched into a guy with his head down. That's fucking brutal

Schedule leaves his skates and hits him in the head/neck area.
The goal has already scored when he makes contact, and they were already losing by 2 goals with under a minute to play.

You can see a slo-mo of the hit in this video. It's not really about concussions - most of the discussion is about the risk that Evans has a cervical spinal injury based on the hit and him landing on his neck.

ok hes racing back to prevent an empty net goal. It wasn’t an unnecessary distant traveled, he literally had to travel that distance, and he glides into a body check to separate the player from the puck. At the point of contact he hits him shoulder to chest, doesn’t leave his feet and his elbows were down. Technically a clean hit, but he will still get a suspension.
 
What a dirty cunt. Is that game 1? Shades of Nordique vs Canadiennes..shits gonna get ugly.
