TJ is 35, hasn't fought in 2.5 years, surgery on both shoulders and old for weight class

But he is the hardest working fighter in the game!

I'm having a very tough time seeing how he beats Sandhagen. At the end of the day this kid is incredibly hungry and in his prime. TJ has already seen the top of the mountain and is 6 years older than Cory, which is huge for BW.
I agree. If you want a recent example of these layoffs just look at Santiago ponzinibio and how his layoffs effected him. Still looks decent, but not at all on the elevated level we believe him to be pre-layoff.

I think for TJ it’s going to come down to where he’s at mentally. If he’s got a chip on his shoulder like he used to, I think he’s gonna be a problem.

Would anyone be surprised if TJ got his chin cracked and put out bad? That’s just how this game goes….

I definitely won’t be betting on that fight

Really? I'm considering putting some parlays in that include Sandhagen (next card is awesome for betting IMO).

TJ is a top 135'r and 1 of the best no doubt, but the break plus no longer on EPO, I think he loses badly

Plenty of former top dogs got one more good fight in them. This could be the one for TJ. The motivation should be there.

TJ and Dee Dub have a lot of similar qualities. Suffice to say I'll be rooting against him.

Shame that chip was a pharmaceutical one.

Go for it sherbro, I’m gonna sit this card out.

I just won a parlay of Belal, Leon, Izzy, and Dustin. I’ll join the fray for the hall vs Strickland card, that should be interesting.

Might be more like Mendes. Was out for a while after popping for PED's, came back and won a fight then got flat-lined in his next and retired. I can see the same with TJ.
