Law NYC to require Vaccine Passports. UPDATE: Now required for ALL employment, kids 5-11, and 2 doses

LOL, the irony of a Queen calling someone else a queen.
Stop the faux shill/gimmick you have going.
It's not accomplishing anything on either side of the equation.
Hard to believe someone could be so vacuous and self-indulgent to do what you do.
Shame on you.

I don’t think he should stop, lol!

queen does a surprisingly good job promoting the mainstream narrative, and I’d guess 99% of what queen posts mirrors the actual “authoritative” thinking that serious people are trying to propagate...

WTF kind of glue are you sniffing?

It's not discrimination. Assuming you are an American you have had at least half a dozen vaccines throughout your life. The only difference here is that the COVID vaccine has not been mandated like for example the Polio vaccine because the republican party is using it as some sort of political tool.

Would you want to go to a restaurant for example not knowing if the people (or serving staff) that you are sharing space with are infected with COVID? I sure as hell wouldn't
Then stay home and stop letting your bitch made fears infect others. Do you have any balls at all?

We are saying that to non-vaxxers here in NYC because they fear the vaccine

The irony
The difference is they aren't trying to tell you how to live. Only a child would expect others to shoulder the responsibility of something as important as your own health.

Oh no!

And the COVID vaccine does what exactly? And btw it took 4 doses of the Polio vaccine to provide close to 100% immunity.

You know when 99% of the people in the US in the hospital due to COVID are unvaccinated it makes me why how people as dumb as you continue to breath.

what in my statement isn’t true? Covid vaccines do not stop you from getting or spreading the virus.

100 million vs. billions. Every vaccine has people that have a negative reaction to it. Every single one. Statistically it varies between vaccines

And regarding the polio vaccine that was in 1950's. You don't think medicine and virology has progressed in 60 years?

The Hep B vaccine only provides 90% effectiveness against Hepatitis and yet 100 million Americans have been vaccinated with it.

"Some of the polio vaccine administered from 1955–1963 was contaminated with a virus, called simian virus 40 (SV40). The virus came from the monkey kidney cell cultures used to produce the vaccine. Most, but not all, of the contamination was in the inactivated polio vaccine (IPV). Once the contamination was recognized, steps were taken to eliminate it from future vaccines. Researchers have long wondered about the effects of the contaminated vaccine on people who received it. Although SV40 has biological properties consistent with a cancer-causing virus, it has not been conclusively established whether it might have caused cancer in humans. Studies of groups of people who received polio vaccine during 1955–1963 provide evidence of no increased cancer risk. However, because these epidemiologic studies are sufficiently flawed, the Institute of Medicine's Immunization Safety Review Committee concluded that the evidence was inadequate to conclude whether or not the contaminated polio vaccine caused cancer. In light of the biological evidence supporting the theory that SV40-contamination of polio vaccines could contribute to human cancers, the committee recommends continued public health attention in the form of policy analysis, communication, and targeted biological research."

Regarding the polio vaccine . Polio mainly affected kids under 5.. so the vaccines were given to the really young. As it affected them the most.

Bit of a difference to covid as originally it was thought children were basically immune to it.

Not to mention , polio vaccines don't lose their effectiveness every year. If you were fully vaccinated ( 3 doses ) it had a 99-100% effectiveness..

This is not the case with the covid vaccine.. at all.

Basically all non-essential establishments. Groceries, etc wont require vaccination for entry

It starts in 2 weeks but the mandate begins in September

Indoor Dining, Indoor Gyms/Fitness, Indoor Entertainments

The only good thing De Blasio has done. Hoping other cities follow the trend.

edit: now LA and Chicago will consider it

I'm fully vaxxed but don't carry my "passport" around. I went to a coffee place for the second time today. First time I went there, last week, I went in without a mask. Today when I went in, there was a sign on the door saying I had to wear a mask, so I put one on before I went in, but then the people working there weren't wearing masks, nor were most of the patrons. So I took my mask off as soon as I sat down and never put it back on...

Seems like if they're going to be turning people away at the door it's going to be a business killer because even some fully vaxxed people won't be prepared, at least not at first. I live in the most vaxxed state in the US, by the way.

what in my statement isn’t true? Covid vaccines do not stop you from getting or spreading the virus.

Coronavirus infections three times lower in double vaccinated people...says Imperial College London study.
The study’s analyses of PCR test results also suggest that fully vaccinated people may be less likely than unvaccinated people to pass the virus on to others, due to having a smaller viral load on average and therefore likely shedding less virus.

Good. Less people around me when I travel is a blessing, and the non vax types would be the undesirables at the restaurants and resorts etc anyway.

You're scared of a 99% survival rate virus, and you expect others to shoulder the responsibility of your own physical health. Sounds pretty childish to me.

I think you are confused so I'll waste a moment of my day to clarify. I've already had COVID earlier this year. Wasn't a lot of fun, was sick for a couple of weeks but ultimately not too bad.

However, I have a 73 year old asthmatic mother and a 94 year old grandmother that are both high risk for serious COVID effects. Am I scared for myself? Not at all, been there done that, got vaccinated.

Why did I get vaccinated? Because I have to be concerned about the people around me that could get very sick from COVID that unlike me are not young enough or healthy enough to fight it off.

The narrative in the US is that most people think its just a flu and it won't do much if they get it. The problem is, we are surrounded by people that can and do get very ill from COVID. Vaccination allows us to protect them. I don't see how this is so complicated. I'm not "scared" for myself or for my 25 year old daughter (who works in the mental health care industry and was vaccinated early). However, I do not want to be responsible for making people I care about sick.

Is this too complicate a concept for you or are you too fucking self absorbed and or selfish to give a shit about people around you?

Don't bother with facts. Too many morons posting in this thread.

Fuck empathy and compassion. I had that in spades when everyone was hoping a vaccine would be released last year. Then it came out and droves of people are too stupid to take it.

Setting aside the ones that think the government puts tracking devices in it, or that it magnetizes you , the ones who consider it an affront to their "personal freedom" irritate me the most.

Does it offend their personal freedom when they get a polio vaccine in public school?

You are narrow-minded and have your blinkers on. All you think about is “stop covid at all costs”, but you don’t seem to realise that

- People are dying from deaths of despair, suicide, over-dosing because of the lockdowns.

- People’s livelihoods are being destroyed.

- There will never be 0 cases of Corona virus. It is here to stay!

You can continue ruining people’s lives with lockdowns or you can’t learn to live with it.

The vaccine will not cause “zero covid”.

The difference is they aren't trying to tell you how to live. Only a child would expect others to shoulder the responsibility of something as important as your own health.
But they (the invaccinated) are insisting private and government entities serve unvaccinated people.

If people don't want to vaccinate, it's their choice, but they don't have the right to force other people to accomadate them. Business and government have the right to refuse service to anyone not following rules maent to keep everyone safe.

From US News:

"Overdose Deaths Far Outpace COVID-19 Deaths in San Francisco
A record 621 people died of drug overdoses in San Francisco so far this year, a staggering number that far outpaces the 173 deaths from COVID-19 the city has seen thus far."

You do realize you just contradicted yourself right?

Suffering due to lockdowns and yet vaccination gets things opened up again. How hard is this to grasp?

Do you have your head stuck in the sand or do you just watch Fox and Newsmax on loop? No one is saying the vaccine will end COVID. However, it is roughly 90% effective in protecting you and if you do get it after being vaccinated your chances of serious illness or death are very very low.

99% of all hospital cases for COVID in the US are people that are unvaccinated.

Go ahead and mansplain away that statistic for me. I'll wait
