What's your single favorite band?

Deftones, not long after Diamond Eyes.

Diamond eyes is a special song to me. Not that I thought or think I'm the only one. I met Chino with James and Dave from Korn in like 93 I think. I haven't been to California too many times but that was memorable. I still have my deftones and Korn demos on cassette. Maxelle and tdk hahaha. James is monkey BTW. Garfield was a butt head, then he got wasted and chilled out. Head was cool as hell. Brian if you are unfamiliar.

Yeah. Music has always been big with my family and I think it plays a huge part of life
I've said this before but my first instrument was the French horn, first chair for a few years. Invited to orchestra, did that. I just always had so much going on. Academics first, athletics second, and art 3rd. I was 14 the first time I went down to critical. Then stuff really got complicated. Not mention I had already been homeless for 2 years by then. Music kept me alive...

the grateful dead by a thousand miles.

they are not the best at what they do. they are the only ones who do what they do.

Thanks. I've been watching them live since around 99 at the fireside. I'm seeing them for the 20+ time in November with bad religion!
Dude, it was my dream to see a show at the Fireside! Chicago punk is in my blood! But I’m just a simple Canadian that has to wait to see them in Toronto, which I’ve done everytime they’ve come for the last 20 years!

She's not being false or mean. I know first hand they have more bad live shows than good. But when they're on,... they're trucking on.

Saw them at the Ventura theater back in March of 2008. Only one of two times they played live songs from Eros and Chi's second to last concert.

They played for two hours.

It's the best concert I've ever been to.

Deftones are literally one of the best concerts I've ever seen. I know they historically suck live but they were on fucking fire in Edmonton back around 2010.
I was desperately wanting to see them good. Tool were the same, brilliant in the studio but not when I saw them live.

I'll give Deftones that it was so windy and the sound screwed up the last time I saw them. It's a shame, Chino had lost so much weight so I was expecting it to be awesome. Again, not slagging them off as recording artists. Tool weren't good because Maynard was in a bad mood. Again (through gritted teeth) I dig what he is selling.

I've seen the dead Kennedys, Anti-Flag, and a very early Rise Against there to name a few of the more major bands.

Saw Rise Against when they toured with Thrice and Deftones. Not a big fan by any means but they're good live.

Also, best rap concert I've ever attended was RTJ. It was ridiculous.
