Truth be told, there's countless reasons why blacks don't trust the government though. There's no shortage of examples of unequal treatment, so the Tuskegee story just kind of got lumped into one of the many injustices.
People know the name, but don't usually know the story.

that's right and the natives are more distrustful. for my tribe, i only have to go back two generations for people who died of some sort of communicable disease, i always felt that was a big factor in why indians are so standoffish and "schizoid" by definition in western terms.

I just told you that the 5 year studies are for studying extremely rare side effects. Every medication has side effects. Some people have bad side effects from taking tylenol. Does that mean tylenol is unsafe? lol

• Johnson & Johnson has lost major lawsuits in 1995, 1996, 2001, 2010, 2011, 2016, 2019 (For what it's worth, J&J's vaccine also contains tissues from aborted fetal cells, perhaps a topic for another discussion)
  
  
• Pfizer has the distinction of the biggest criminal payout in history. They have lost so many lawsuits it's hard to count. You can check out their rap sheet here. Maybe that's why they are demanding that countries where they don't have liability protection put up collateral to cover vaccine-injury lawsuits.

The government has been influencing personal health choices since this country's inception. This is nothing new.

You do have that right... unfortunately, Americans are recognized as one of the least healthy people in the world. Not sure how this is an argument in favor of giving our government even more control, to the point of forcing injection of chemicals that lack adequate safety testing.

Vaccine makers need protection because every medication has side effects, no matter how safe it is. Tylenol can devastate some people. If there weren't protections, the small handful of people having serious negative effects could sue Pfizer into the ground. Those people can still receive compensation, and justice can still be served if big pharma is proven to be irresponsible, but the risk tied to making a vaccine would be too high for any of these companies to even bother making one if there weren't protections. Then we would have no vaccines at all. This is a moot point anyways, since the vaccine is proven safe.

So these companies can’t make a safe vaccine that doesn’t lead to being sued into the ground? Pfizer has paid out billions to-date for other illegal and unethical actions... how many vaccine injuries are you expecting that it would drive them out of business?

None of this has anything to do with the vaccines that are currently being administered that have mountains of data proving their safety and efficacy. Try again, but this time, stay on topic.

Edit: I missed the last two points. The Astrazeneca vaccine was causing adverse side effects in extremely rare circumstances, but was ultimately proven to be safe. That's why it's still in circulation. Those 15 million J&J doses were thrown out. They wouldn't have flushed all of that money down the drain if the governing bodies were as careless and corrupt as you say.
