Can you tell Chinese/Japanese/Korean people apart?

I thought I was good, I always know more than my friends, but I only got like 7. However, the ones I was very confident in, I nailed lol. The languages are very easy to tell apart, but just based on photos... Harder than it looks.

If anyone is Chinese/Japanese/Korean here, I'd like to know if you missed out on your own country(wo)men!

Everyone thinks they can. But they probably can’t. I grew up almost exclusively around Asians and I still can’t actually tell where their family is from just by looking at them.

Yes, my best friend is Korean, my ex GF was Japanese, and I’m surrounded by Chinese. I have more issues with Indians and Pakistanis.

I worked for an Indian company for over a decade with a ton of Pakistani guys, they couldn't really tell each other apart on first meeting either.

Always was proud of my ability to tell the difference and was quick to judge others on their inability to tell the difference. Up until I watched the “Squid Game” on Netflix with my girl and thought it was a Japanese show up until like episode 4….
