I put on Winter/snow tires for my car about 3 weeks ago now. It's worth it I believe, don't want to slip or slide like crazy on the road.

Of Course i do!

We still have winters.

Besides, the police fine people for not having winter tires on.

Today's weather for refference.

A nice set of tires makes all the difference. I personally run all terrains that are snow rated. They probably arent as good as a dedicated winter tire on ice, but they kick ass in snow and slush.

I have a Jeep with off-road tires so I leave them on all year. No need to change them.

People think Boston is like Siberia or something, but it's actually a borderline subtropical climate and getting increasingly warmer... Water doesn't freeze over anymore. Granted, I live in the urban core so there's a urban heat island effect. The outer suburbs tend to be colder and get more snow.

Had one of the best night of my life in Boston a few years back.

Went to see the Raps Vs the Celtics with a friend,
we ended up at lolita tequila bars with some chicks.

I use all season tires and all wheel drive, never had any issues. I live in Boston and the vast majority of roads are well plowed and salted during winter storms, it’s only random side roads in the suburbs that are an issue, or having to drive in the middle of the storm. My neighbor has a little m2 bmw, he swaps snow tires onto in every year and it handles the weather just as well as my Subaru.

Yup for all California's bad parts, the one thing you can't beat is the weather. I didn't even know about snow tires till I was an adult. It's not even a thing here.

I used to know a dude that claimed he didn't own a single pair of pants. He wore shorts all year round.

It's mandatory here, but I don't do it.

Because I own no vehicle.

Awesome. When I was a kid, a lot of guys went to Montreal because they could get into titty bars and have a good time. Haven't made it up there yet... Which is a shame since it's part of my heritage like a lot of New Englanders.
