Ngannou is 285 pounds. Gane is going to the dream realm.

That's not necessarily the the compliment you think it is.

Shit, going by that logic Bob Sapp is a future UFC HW champ

Probably could've been, but he would've died getting to 265 lol.

I couldn't write a more Sherdoggery title than that. I remember reading almost the same thing before Izzy vs. Costa. "Durrr...Big Muscles! Big!!!! So stroooooooooooong...hurr hurr, can't...lose!" Sherdog will never change.

If anything, the thought should be almost opposite, but the internet is gonna internet.

He’s cultivating mass ahead of his boxing match with Tyson Fury that is never happening.

With the betting line at basically evens, I'd probably lean Ngannou although not confidently.
BUT, Ngannou is unhappy with the UFC and might possibly feel incentivized not to win the fight. I have no idea if that will play out in his conscious or subconscious mind. Could be something. Could be nothing.
So, ultimately this is a fight I don't want to touch from a betting perspective, but I am looking forward to it as these are the two best heavyweights currently IMO.

What do you think he weighs? Just curious as he weighs in at or around the limit. I believe 263 for Stipe. He's known to cut a little bit of weight but nothing major.

So what do you reckon he's walking around at?
I don't think he cuts much weight, if any.

Somehow Noobs should be blocked from making new threads. (I am talking a Noob to MMA which clearly TS is)

could mean the drop 265 will just make him gas faster as he will have keep up or chase down Gane... this could end up like Nick Diaz vs Carlos Condit
Ngannou wins rounds 1, 2, and 5? ;)

Holy ffff that man could've died no joke wtff
That man getting spiked on his head is the legendary Minitauro Nogueira. He won that fight :)

I hope Francis lays Gane down under a beautiful plum tree where Gane can spend his days sipping iced tea and playing with butterfly’s as he enjoys himself in the shadow realm.

This is a completely different fight outside the weight differential; but I remember people saying the thing when Lesnar fought Velasquez. Honestly rooting for Ngannou on this one, but was hoping he was focusing on cardio, speed and movement; seems like he’s sticking with relying on power and aggression at that weight.
