Please don't tell me MMA is a legit sport. The UFC went from a 30 foot diameter octagon to a 25 foot diameter octagon.

Imagine if in basketball, they lowered the rim by five feet.

Throw in weight classes so that manlets can participate and it's hard to see as more than a diversion, like professional wrestling. Watching GSP, Usman, Conor and Khaib is like watching the WNBA. Watching Mighty Mouse and Aldo is like the watching The Special Olympics.

Oh, and the most famous person in MMA is a manlet who never competed.

Imagine of basketball added a three point line, oh wait they did in 1979.

Imagine of baseball parks all have different size fields, oh wait they do.

Imagine if baseball changed the baseball its self, oh wait they did.

Imagine if baseball changed the height of the pitching mound, oh wait they did.

Imagine if Football changed the rule sets yearly for different purposes, oh wait they do.

We can continue this for ever. The point is all sports at the core is a form of entertainment. Rules sets, fields, etc are changed periodically for that entertainment. It doesn't make it not a sport.

Every other sport has difference also as pointed out. From baseball field dimensions to soccer field sizes. Hell even a stadium itself can make the difference. Roof, no roof, retractable roof. What matters is how a competitor can adapt to those differences. A true champion can and will.

Look how many fighters can’t adapt from ring to cage and Vice versa.

Basebell fields are all different dimensions

Soccer fields can be different lengths and widths as long as the measurements for everything on the field are proper

Relax

Those are some pretty 'legit sports' if you ask me

I think race tracks/courses (auto racing) are also different sizes.

Then again I don't think driving a car is really a sport, at least not as much as human cock-fighting.

100% fighter bashing.

Comparing fighters size to being a disability?

Whats wrong with you?

Such a shit thread. And a bait and switch to troll and break the rules when the thread title had a thin vein of a legitimate topic in it.

Don't call yourself a fighter if you're only willing to fight men who weigh 125 lbs or less.

A better name would be a coward.

Yeah, the NFL has spent decades progressively altering the rules to promote the forward passing game.

American football could've easily evolved to look more like rugby with pads.

They do it to fit the size of the venue ya dummy.

International hockey rinks are larger than NHL rinks.

Also, CFL fields are larger than NFL fields. The ball is larger as well.

Doubling down on a comment that likely will get you dubs. I see what you did there.

Enjoy the dubs all the same.

Fair troll, I clicked on the shit thread with the bait title.

Imagine if every baseball stadium had different distances and height for what was considered a home run?
Wow, the infield looks remarkably identical in all those different baseball fields. And none of them decrease their square footage by over 30%.
