Fedor fanboys are retarded and delusional. Most current HWs in the UFC would beat the living shit out of him. Even guys like Luke Rockhold or Israel Adesanya would win easily.

A much as I like Crocop and Fedor these new breed of heavyweights are just too big and too athletic

Even if they have higher skills, you are asking them to make up 20-30 pounds in weight which is too much. Fedor legit could have fought at LHW and your asking him to fight Nanganou who cuts to 265.

Igor had excellent defensive grappling for the most part, he had the misfortune of being undersized most of the time though so guys like Coleman, Kerr, and Bobish could out grapple him. His fight against SakuGOAT was damn impressive for a dude who predominantly kickboxed.
 
I love Gane very much. He's a good fighter with good skills and will shine against guys like Volkov and Lewis but his wrestling and overall grappling are very weak and not on Fedors level. 2005 Fedor would sling him to the mat and pound on him. Gane needs to leave Paris if he wants to complete his overall game.

As for prime Cop, yes he's a much better striker than Gane or anyone in thr UFC today at HW and Fedor beat the shit out of him. Gane isn't on the same level as prime Mirko or Remy Bonjasky.

Prime Mark Hunt beat both Prime CC and Prime Wandy, and gave Fedor alot more trouble than anyone expected. He also won a K1 grad prix took a LHK flush to the dome and stood right back up, and fought JLB three times I think when he was in his prime and beat him one of those times. My point is I agree with you. And I'm an Ngannou fan.

You know that Fedor is a 6ft, and around 225-230 for most of his fights, with about 20 lbs of flat tire on him right?

You want actual Giants? Semmy Shilt was like 6'11, Zuluzihno was 6'7 350lbs, Choi Chong was 7'2 and like 300+ lbs

You can have it both ways, just look at Ngannou and Gane, strong, fast and big. He succeeded at HW because he was extremely skilled, aggressive & brave. His speed was an advantage of course, but he wasn't a real HW. He was really a middleweight masquerading as a HW. He wasn't particularly physically imposing by any means and had quite a bit of fat he carried around. Even against fighters that were about the same height as him, he didn't physically bully them. He was definitely a small HW. Put him against guys in the UFC now, he would be on the smaller end almost in every fight not only at HW but also at LHW.

Precisely because it's more competitive now... so smaller guys can't make it in the HW division...

And still doesn't change the fact that Fedor spent half of his career beating smaller guys when he was undefeated...
