It’s pretty funny. Jones says he’s going to fight in mid 2022 before the ngannou - gane fight. Now he’s starting to negotiate for fight mid 2022. And people now say its only because ngannou isn’t available…..
Was there any way he could have won in your eyes in this? How could he have played it different if his plan was always to fight mid 2022?

Ngannou will be out for 9 months so the earliest he will fight will be about 1 year from now. His cardio will be worse than it is now, he will have some ring rust, will not have improved as much or added to his skillset - a better chance for Jones to win.
If Jones can get a interim belt between now and the end of summer, itbis possible he can beat Ngannou. His best shot would be a interim title fight with Lewis, but Stipe would be a bigger event and make more $.
