Fixed for you my friend. This is all Mr. Putin will need:

This is I think often a weakness in the militaries of authoritarians, they basically keep the troops in line as much with the threat of punishment as with any sense of duty so when they have the chance to back out of combat without that happening they do.

Very true. Now if Ukraine was killing them regardless of surrender that'd change but I think they're more than happy taking prisoners.

Swedish MP has confirmed Sweden will send
135 000 field rations 5000 helmets 5000 body armours and 5000 "anti tank weapons"
and 50mil Euro to humanitarian aid.

Goddamn. Even Sweden is going hard for the Ukraine.

And then he called Putin "genius" for invading Ukraine. Trump is a fucking joke here in Europe. Please don't ever reelect that buffoon.
If Trump is the nomination he will win IMO. So you might as well get ready for it.

Hes being proven right a lot and if the indictments keep coming from Durham plus inflation and gas prices it's a done deal.

I don't remember this at all but jeez...

Denmark will be sending weapons.
There is no info on what kind but sources said "weapons especially for close combat in city environments"

Proven right? Even a broken clock is right twice a day.
Trump was sucking Putin's balls for 4 years and now he comes back saying Putin is a genius and that this happened because the election was stolen lol. You guys talk about Biden being senile but trump seem to have loss his marbles a long time ago.

Seems the Danes will donate 2700 anti tank weapons to the Ukraine

Im not too up on armament, if russia launched say 10 nukes , how many could we stop over russian territory vs how many would reach destination or innocent country?

Wow, way back 2005ish, I worked on a project at Ft Greely constructing the anti ballistic missile site. Long story short, my understanding is that launching defensive missiles off ships was a better way to go vs. land based silos due to mobility.

But anyway, the “intercept” happens in outer space for a ballistic missile. A “kill vehicle” (large piece of stainless steel with high pressure jets) literally has to smash into the nuke.

At least that’s how it worked way back when. I’m sure it’s much more sophisticated two decades later. That being said, I hope people will take the time to read how the program came into existence (Reagan Star Wars), just how deeply funding was cut (Obama), and then how funding was historically increased (Trump).

Other than a dirty bomb, I’m referencing the United States being nuked by Russia. That would be via ballistic missile.

As far as Ukraine, they’re 100% screwed. Putin can drop on them via plane, or launch via cruise missile as they’re close to each other. So no, they will not be shot down over Russia.

Just a random thought…in the long term, what is the impact of weaponizing supposedly neutral shared systems such as SWIFT? What country that is not completely aligned with the West would still trust these institutions and not become extra motivated to developing their own, making it that much harder for the world to become united.

AT4's, effective against everything but MTB. More portable and easily transportable than much heavier NLAW or even more porky Javelins. Also produced in confined space version that you can fire from yes, confined spaces.

@...El Ray @Repsac but seriously though. That seems to be the only option.

The weird thing to me is that Putin has always been extremely calculating. The narrative of "Putin has lost his mind" just feels such a lazy and simple way to explain the situation.

But then again, the guy has been a silent dictator of a massive country for 23 years, after being a fucking KGB spy for some (correct me if I'm wrong) 20 odd years. That will change any man over the course of time. Could it all be so simple?
