Sherdogger Gregolian has passed away

So many have gone over the years, there has to be a Sherbro afterlife. If I get there at least everyone will be well fed and Merloed.

No one on Sherdog knows me in real life, nor do I have anyone on here that has me on Facebook.

If I died tomorrow, literally no one on Sherdog would know I died. Scary to think actually, because I post here everyday lol

But as I posted in the other thread.... RIP, Sherbro.

Damn. Really hate to hear that. We always had very cordial interactions. RIP.

I’ve often wondered when some of our members just disappear if they decided to walk away, or unfortunately passed. SevenSamurai was a guy that I always enjoyed interacting with on here and he literally disappeared.

Leave instructions for someone irl to find this forum if and when.

I just found out. Post on his FB page confirms it.

Greg was my bud, and one if the chillest posters I've come across. I had contact with him on multiple platforms. A genuinely good-hearted person. I'm pretty bummed.
I was hoping this was a lie or some misunderstanding. Damn, that dude was one of the best.

RIP bud, I'm going to miss him :(

I've got heaps of people on Facebook, text or what have you from here. but my other half isn't the sort who would announce it on my Facebook or here so I don't know how long it would take for y'all to find out. I guess if I stopped responding to text/WhatsApp messages someone would eventually message him.

But it is a shame if no one found out about you, pick a Sherbro you trust to check in on you!

We should come up with a way to honor our fallen sherbros. Like an official sherdog send off into the forums of the afterlife.
Crazy how when you post on a forum long enough, the list of people that pass just grows. So odd to think about since you just see these people's posts yet get to know them so well.

I never thought about that but it'll be true for me. I lurked here since I met Jeff Sherwood in 96 or 97. Obviously you can see my join date. I don't have anything but this and xbox live people. They will know when I die. Because Friday will come and I won't be there singing, drinking, and doing everyone's favorite characters from all genres.

It says that he will be missed with a broken heart emoji.

I believe he had some health issues. I know he was spending a ton of time in bed in recent months. I never asked him exactly what was going on, and he never made any mention if anything being wrong to the point this would happen. I think this kinda blindsided everyone.

Definitely blindsided me . . . I had no clue he was having health issues.

RIP. I remember being in a lot of threads with him years ago, but not much recently. I saw someone mention pneumonia. Was he sick for a while?

Hopefully this is a misunderstanding. All of the posts on FB appear to be online people (something I didn't realize initially), although Greg had moved to a different state in recent years and likely didn't have a big social circle in his new home. It is super depressing that if Greg is gone no one in his real world life is compelled to remember him. Hopefully he is just 8n the hospital or something, but he was quick on FB and hasn't responded to anything, so I can't imagine that this isn't true.

Especially all the folks from the plats a few years back. I hadn't really chatted with Greg in a while, but I probably know about that guy than most of the people here. He was a good dude for sure.

Same here man. I better get someone I know to access my account in case it happens to let you guys know and make a little tribute. Would suck to just disappear one day. Funny thing is, without Facebook 99% of my friends and people I know in the real would wouldn’t find out either. I just don’t see people outside of family and coworkers very often.
