He defended the belt 4 times in more than 6 years. My point is proven. Two of these defenses were against cans, the other two were the destruction of Rampage and the split against Arona.

Shogun had a better lhw run. Just like Wand, he destroyed Rampage but he also destroyed Arona, while Wand went 1-1, his win being a split.
 
Wanderlei has 23 wins just in Pridefc. Yes he defended his belt whenever pridefc wanted he ducked no one. You have no point proven your grasping to change the subject. Yes other fights were not for the belt for example like fighting in multiple tournaments either of his division or open weight. You leave that part out lol. He even competed against real heavy weights. Shogun is another of my favorite fighters so dont really have anything bad to say about the dude. If you were a fan of the sport at that time and actually paid close attention you would already know Wanderlei was the dude.

I didn't leave any part out. I mentionned the loss to Arona where he should have lost his belt but didn't cause it was a tournament. Out of his 23 wins in PRIDE, only 3-4 of those were actually quality wins. Most of his wins were against tomato cans or guys half his size like Sakuraba.

You try to make him sound like Wanderlei beat some chump three times. Sakuraba was fighting many different fighters around Wanderlei size like cro cop, randleman, shamrock, belfort, rampage, nog, etc etc. Again like I said before your not mentioning facts and being really selective with your trolling argument lol. BJ Penn and Serra are NOT natural FW. You are a moron. Also your notion of "Beat the shit" is ridiculous. GSP won that fight handily 2 rounds to 1. There is no debate. If "beat the shit" means landed a few shots following an illegal eye poke then yeah, sure.

Sorry, if Saku is a WW, BJ is a FW. Its not even a matter of opinion. And as a matter of fact, both ended up fighting in those weightclasses late in their career.

So yeah, the only tittle challenger GSP managed to finish was a FW sized one. What a GOAT :eek::eek:

BJ making weight at 145 late in his career despite his notable lack of discipline shows that he is indeed the size of a modern FW. Sorry if it is a slap on the pathetic narratives to spit in an attempt to discredit other fighter's accomplishments, but it is what it is.

Yea "thundercat" or whatever his screen name is like to selectively leave things out. I ain't talking shit about Gsp or Penn but I do remember after their fight gsp telling a interviewer that his game plan was to wrestle and push bj up against the cage initially at least to get the blood to fill his arms so he would be less effective at trying to strike. Gsp and his team did this because he had the size advantage and strength.

"Thundercat" talks smack about Wand beating Saku 3 times but turns into a chump fangirl about Gsp beating Penn. Hahahahahahaha
