Only chance Brock has is to catch him with something on the feet but even then Werdum could be dangerous

Werdum.

Brock is a wrestler. He wants to go to the mat. And Werdum was the best guy on the mat in HW history probably. Brock is over aggressive and while he moves quick, a single mistake will cost him the fight.

Werdum is also among the smartest HW fighters ever. He knows when to act hurt and grab a sub as the guy chases a finish. He knows when to feint a TD and throw a flying knee instead.

And honestly, Werdum had pretty good striking. People forget that sometimes. Werdum KO'd Hunto.

on his prime Werdum beats him on the feet and subs him on the ground.

Brock lesnar! He subbed Cain worse than Werdum

Bad match up for Brock. Werdum is better everywhere.

Hold on, in which Mir fight did Brock lay n pray?

The one where he was got submitted?
Or the one where he let Mir stand up, then took him back down and smashed his face into strawberry jam?
Was there a third fight I'm not aware of?
I always thought the second fight was because of a poorly timed flying knee. Frank lit him up with a knee along the fence and just got stuck there until his face was gone.

Werdum. The only edge Brock has here is speed and wrestling, but that's negated when your opponent is better on the feet and the ground. Brock had a great chin, so I don't see him going out, but he never learned how to react to being lit up. That's a dangerous trait when you fight someone as crafty as Werdum.

Definitely Werdum. Way to skilled for Brock

Not a fan of Brock, but in all honesty he takes this one IMO.

Lesnar is severely underrated for some reason, but I'd have to go with Werdum - his striking was quite OK in his prime and if it hits the ground he'd find the sub.

Werdum via TKO. I think Brock would be cautious about going to the ground and Werdum's stand-up was always highly underrated and he would piece apart a gassed Brock in probably the late 2nd/3rd round.

Werdum had a ridiculously good chin in his prime (another underrated aspect of his game) and he would be able to survive any dangerous bursts from Brock.

Good fight though and would have been very exciting
