It was 1-1 going into the 3rd...Burns got hurt in the first part of round 3 and while he recovered later in the round and got a few good shots in it wasn't enough to take round 3.

Maybe it'll seem different after rewatching but that's how it looked live.

I had burns. Either way Khamzat was exposed. Fucking embarrassing

amazing how taking a huge step up in competition and beating the #2 guy "exposes" you. Also, many of the same people talking about how incredible burns is. makes zero sense.

Khamzat landed more and got a TD, I was pretty sure he would get the win.

What an awesome fight though, in the post-fight interview Khamzat said he's glad to finally get some resistance. Hats off to Gilbert!

Once I heard unananimous I knew Chimaev won. Burns earned at least a split decision, I had him winning the fight.
