3 was so close. coulda gone either way based on the judges, but id give khamzat a slight edge in the 3rd. if burns knocked him down with one of those monster shots at the end, then he would have won.

Of course he did. The odds were in Khamzat’s favour and they spent a lot of money marketing him. He might get a shaky decision he didn’t deserve over burns who he was supposed to crush but Colby clowns him while throwing racial slurs.

Burns won 2 rounds and exposed Khamzat as a can crusher. He coukd improve but he was supposed to bury Gilbert and instead got arguably beaten

Well Colby lost multiple times to Usman and refuses to fight Burns.

I'm sure you can figure out why Colby wouldn't fight Burns.

Meanwhile Chimaev took on Burns and deservedly won.

Full disclosure honest but biased Khamzat fan

- Khamzat gas tank is questionable for me now

- he is not ready for Usman at all

- seemed humbled at the post fight interview

- Gilbert is the Karl Malone of the UFC right now. He’s a legend but can’t beat the elite of the elite even though I thought he won honestly

That fight was sick. Burns is legit and so is khamzat. That's what happens when two killers meet

Chimaev got in love with his striking, he might be way better on the feet than Khabib, who got better at the end of his run imo, but Khabib never stopped grappling everyone, he put pressure standing and then got them to the ground, Chimaev needs to stick with his grappling.

Sorry i'm a fan of the guy and all but i can also be objective. Khamzat has holes in his game , especially on the defensive side. He eventually is going to get KTFO if he continue getting hit like that. Hell it came close tonight

he does have a hell of a chin though and he proved that tonight. He is top 5 for sure but long term champ material ? I don,t think so

Burns landed way more heavy shots in the 3rd. He also missed more. That means he was also more active. I didn't have a dog in this fight, not a fan boy of either one.
