Dana White says vaccine requirement is ‘the problem’ preventing UFC’s return to Canada

A lot of countries are opening up, with full capacity crowds being increasingly common and requirements for quarantine and testing being dropped by many as governments try to adjust to life during a pandemic. That apparently aren’t the only things stopping the UFC from returning to their full international schedule though.

The UFC is gearing up for shows in Singapore and France, but Dana White says that hosting shows in countries like Canada still isn’t very likely.

“Uh, I don’t know yet. We’ll see. It all depends on how the world gets back to normal,” White told Aaron Bronsteter about a potential return to Canada. “Obviously Canada is a huge market for us. Canada is a big part of our history — love it up there.

“It’s just going to depend on whether the world gets back to normal. I wanna go back to Canada this year, but let’s see.”

Canada is currently open to tourists and have hosted numerous big events lately, with mask mandates dropped and full capacity crowds allowed. So when pressed on more specifics, the UFC President admitted that the issue is with the country’s vaccination requirements.

“I think that in Canada right now, we’d need a fully vaccinated card. Everybody on the card has to be vaccinated,” White said. “Yeah, that’s the problem.”

Trudeau refuses to drop the mandates. After September 1st, canadian expats overseas that visit canada cannot board a plane or boat to return home if they are not vaccinated. Trudeau regime essentially telling unvaccinated canadians overseas to not come back.

No they are moving on. They started focusing on the treament instead of prevention which wasn't fully working in terms of the vaccine. Multiple pharma companies have an oral viral covid treatment, same companies with the vaccine. That's the real reason everything went back to normal. They use the vaccine to try and prevent infection but it's not 100% effective, then they have the oral viral treatment that you take within 5 days of symptoms and take for a week and that will tremendously minimize serious complications and hospital visits from covid.

No all reports from vaccine companies is that the vaccines are effective and won't really need an omicron specific vaccine. All that is outdated information about needing an omicron specific vaccine. They recommend boosters for Omicron.

The vaccines will be pushed and it's already been shown to be effective that's why mandates and restrictions have been lifted. That's the reason why mask mandates have been lifted, vaccine passports have been lifted, quarantines have been lifted, etc.

Yeah even Australia has dropped all vaccine requirements as far as I know, and we were pretty strict on COVID.
