I have a very hard time seeing Allen, Kape, and Jiri losing. All likely win by stoppage, too.
It’s been a long time since Glover won that belt. He’s so slow now. I just cannot see how Jiri loses this if he isn’t taken down within the forst couple of minutes….
Long time inbetween fights for old guys is probably a good thing. Reminds me of when Hopkins was boxing in his 40s. Glover has been slow for a while now.
I don't see why people are so high on Jiri. He gets tagged a lot and we don't really know what his ground game is like. It's probably not very good. We don't know what he will look like in the later rounds. His second fight with King Mo went to the 3rd and he looked borderline gassed. He is young (for LHW), aggressive, athletic, and has power.
I have also doubted Glover repeatedly in recent years and I think it's the bias we tend to have against older fighters. If we're being objective, I don't think he has ever looked better.
If Jiri doesn't finish in the first 2 rounds and slows down I can easily see Glover landing a takedown and slicing through him like butter.
Bontorin is really underrated. Bibulatov is a great win. He was dominating Kara France early on. His fight with Royval was razor close. imo this is very close to a coinflip fight.I have a very hard time seeing Allen, Kape, and Jiri losing. All likely win by stoppage, too.

Tend to agree Allen feels like a lock, but I thought he was a lock against Curtis too...
Jiri/Glover is going to be obvious in retrospect. Either Jiri blows through him, or old man Glover weathers the storm and finishes him on the ground.
imo line is accurate on Jiri/Allen. Kape is overpriced.
Curtis' win over Hawes, while strong on paper, was also perceived as extremely flukey. The Curtis/Allen line was more people not respecting Curtis than anything else. He's always been a very good fighter.
Bontorin has a very good chance if he can get Kape down, but I'm not sure that will be easy.
I can’t explain a lot of these lines but these juice lords have been getting lucky the last few weeks on themSomeone want to explain why Culibao is a 2-1 dog here? His lone loss is up a weight class to a very good fighter. He went to war with Jourdain, and handled his last opponent (who is a decent wrestler) with ease his last fight.
I don't call many plays locks, but the main event not going the distance is as close to it as you can get in MMA. DK sadly had it at -500 at last check, but I actually thought it would be higher. I see no scenarios where this can possibly go a full five.
i agree but tell that to the Ngannou/Lewis, Ngannou/Gane etc bettors
both have great chins

Only speaking to the Ngannou/Gane bout, lots of people picked Gane.. and by decision. If he was the one that was going to win, almost everyone felt it'd go all five. The Lewis fight, OK. This fight, no shot.
And there's plenty of people saying one's gonna get KO'd quickly, and the other's chin isn't great.. so not sure what to say.
Goes without saying Bontorin can't win without a takedown.Gone over my notes on Bontorin and I think his output on the feet is very low and probably will allow Manel to fight at a comfortable pace.
Don't forget to add Schaub vs Lavar Johnson to that list.i agree but tell that to the Ngannou/Lewis, Ngannou/Gane etc bettors

Why’s the forum so quiet these days? It’s a shame. I love this card for betting and watching.
anybody see Zhang losing? I can’t
