The Last Boring Bender.

In every one of these "boring fights", his opponent has been less active than him, which is why he gets the win.

It takes two to tango.
Or he's just purposely keeping the distance with his length and throwing a few jabs and kicks to eek by with a boring decision

I mean I get it, but what does that make of Cannonier?

He lost 3-4 rounds. UFC is fixed now. 2 weeks in a row with nonsense of clearly won fights. Paiva last week and Now Cannonier. If you think Paiva lost the 3rd last week or Adesanya won the 5th this round you fucking nuts. UFC has become Pride, but I don't think the fighters are fixing the fights. I think the judging is crooked, and the commentary is absurdly biased
Bro, it was boring but izzy won 1,2, and 4 cleanly. 5 was probably izzy too, but that's debatable. Still a win either way.

Then he has to get out of his comfort zone and use the offense that Rogan and DC constantly gush about the entire fight. He needs to fight more aggressive to impress fans.
It’s only partially on him, it’s on his opponents to force him there like what Kelvin Gastulum did. These guys all freeze in front of him because they don’t wanna get countered. It’s just a shitty division with not enough good style matchups for Izzy.

I mean I get it, but what does that make of Cannonier?
Someone who didn't belong in the fight. He at least tried to rush after Izzy at times. That's all you can do when you're a less-skilled 38-year old.

As soon as he became champ he became risk-averse.

Izyy fought a good fight, Cannonier should have done more. These fighters all this shit and demand title fights and then go out there and coast to a loss. You made it to the big fight, go out on your shield.

As a challenger fighting this timidly is so stupid especially now that the book is out on izzy.

It takes 2 to tango. Cannonir was already shooked at the press conference. Dude came out to lose a decision.

Not sure what you want anyone to do. Anytime someone advance he scoots away like a giraffe, leg kick, jab, scoot away, repeat.

Yeah he's not a risk taker. He's happy to win by tip tap decision.

Nothing about that was boring.

In before your inevitable pretentious reply to someone about how they don't understand striking and how this fight was a "technical masterpiece"

No matter what you want to say about Adesnya’s skills, I agree that his fights are almost always boring. This one was no exception. He doesn’t take much damage, but he doesn’t inflict much, either, and is never looking for the finish. Boring.
