He's definitely the second best WW in history. He passed Woodley and Hughes AFAIK. So I (and many others) aren't discrediting him....we're just tired of hearing about how he's "better than GSP" since like his 2nd title defense.

MMA evolves and that's why you have to compare fighters against their relative competition. GSP beat tons of good WWs in his day including a lot more D1 wrestlers than Usman has fought (Kos, Fitch, Hendricks, Hughes, etc.). I also think prime version of Hendricks and Lawler were beasts who could hold their own against any current WW. You really don't think the Hendricks who gave GSP all he could handle, had super heavy hands and very good werstling as a back-up gameplan wouldn't have a chance against Masvidal, Edwards or Strickland?
