Say if someone terminally ill and suffering and will die in months. Is it humane to put this person down? I mean if this person is going to die anyways why not let them go if that's what they wish for. To prolong his or her death for longer period like months time is cruel imo.

They should have a choice at that point to pick if they want to move on or not.

I know if I was in that situation and I was going to die in months or weeks and am suffering in agony. There is no doubt in my mind I'd choose death ASAP. No point in living and going through that much pain.

So I ask you if you were in that situation would you want to die?

When I had a bit of gnarly issue, my husband was in tears and saw him in tears making me promise to get every treatment possible to which I agreed being his life was more important than my death...when you're faced with stuff like that, things become very different.

More right than left, but on this one... completely on board with assisted suicide.
I'd rather not suffer as much (who would) and would like to rest peacefully with a caring companion, instead of hari kiri or hanging myself.

I don't think this is going to happen in my life (doing well) , yet... been there.

I think anybody should be allowed to legally suicide peacefully in his own home

Make the person talk with a psychologist to offer him help to find a reason to keep live, and if this help is rejected at least certify that is'nt in a situation where he's incapable of discernment

Beyond that if the person is willing to do it respect his freedom
