When is Fedor fighting again? and who should have the honor to share a cage or ring with him?

one that that is underrated about fedor is how much he inspired the current stock of russian fighters in hte UFC. Yan and Khabib looked up to him. If there was no fedor there was a good chance they could be doing something else.

I thought this was gonna be a thread about Rickson Gracie. Was pleasantly surprised to see it was legit thread.

Like what? Sambo to MMA is a pretty obvious transition.

Yes, Fedor inspired a lot of fighters, but Russians would be in MMA regardless by now. They already were before Khabib and Yan were notable fighters.

I'm a big fan of Fedor but you can't lose to Matt Mitrione under any circumstances and still be considered the GOAT. Even Brendan Schaub beat Mitrione easily.

This is Claude's alt account?

What about Matt Serra or Ryo Chonan?

You idiots kill me. Sometimes it takes more than a cursory glance at a fighter’s win-loss record on Sherdog to make a qualified assessment of his career.

Mitrione is underrated standing at this point. Schuab subbed him. On the feet mitriione was no joke at all. And of course it was the latter part of his career.

Miss him? He's literally still fighting. He's not retired and it hasn't even been a year since his last fight.

Lol you guys aren't real fans if you try and pretend his career ended in 2006.

Why does it have to be Bader? Out of all the mismatches Coker has made… he’s gonna give Fedor Bader for his retirement fight?

Bader has slowed down a lot, and his gas tank has gotten worse. It's worse and more noticeable at LHW than HW sure, but it's there. And while he KO'd Fedor standing last time, that's not really his style and I'd honestly be surprised to see him replicate after his last fights. He's a grinder, and trying to grind out Fedor, at his size, is tough. As far as we've seen Fedor still has fast hands and power, and good hips.

I mean, Bader should still be the favourite. But if Fedor shows up as quick as he did against Johnson he's got a decent chance to KO him if they stand again.

Coker's probably hoping Fedor KO's him quick like Corey did, and then Fedor can retire as Bellator HW champ with that final feather in his career. Meanwhile Bader just fights for the vacant belt and probably beats whoever as though nothing happened, but Coker gave Fedor one last chance. And if Bader wins, well congrats, that still works for Coker as Fedor's not coming back from another loss and Bader stays champ.

Fedor should have stopped long ago if he would have wanted to keep a good record like Khabib and Jon Jones.

Fedor is different though and never cared, he fought at HW and went for the kill in ALL matches besides the one against Monson, against Monson he didn't wanna lose and he won of course clearly.
