So this guy who couldn’t sub a rocked Justin is supposed to be the biggest threat to Khabib?

Quite possibly your worst post yet.

Lets say for example Gaethje was Khabibs biggest threat at one point. Then Oliveira beat Gaethje. That would make him the new biggest threat regardless of how much better you think Khabib is than him.

Also wtf man he literally subbed Gaethje in the fight.
But not as easily as Khabib and the guy is rocked. Khabib is levels above Oliveira and would’ve taken him down and mauled him then subbed him

Oliveria had Gaethje in the clinch multiple times and couldn't do anything with it, he also got rocked at least 3 times and knocked down twice. In contrast Gaethje was running for his life the entire against Khabib, he literally posed ZERO threat, it looked like they were in different leagues.
You do realize that many people (including 2 of the judges) scored the first round for Justin, right? Those leg kicks were actually a problem for Khabib. And Justin landed a couple big punches, but Khabib had a great chin.

None of this matters, of course, because Khabib proved to be the superior fighter. Which makes it all the stranger that you feel the need to rewrite history.

Oh fair and honest you say... You left out, that Justin got finished faster by Charles than anybody else he fought....
Yes but he looked clueless against Khabib and was running away most of the fight and Khabib took it easy on him and was going to snap his arm but then put him to sleep instead

100%

Gaethje could've won the fight if he didn't swing for the bleachers on every shot he threw and gas himself out. Incredibly dumb fighter when he starts to panic.

It's funny how fans think of Justin as some kind of King of the Brawl when that's exactly how to fight him. Literally all of his losses/hardest fights have come by foes who took the fight to him right back (and then some).

Justin is BETTER when you just sit back and give him space.

Oh so Khabib took it easy on him??? Are you sure you're not being bias??? Just a lil bit...

All this video shows is that Gaethje has absolutely 0 fight IQ left

This video speaks volumes. You be the judge! Khabib subbed Justin like a little baby and so easily.

Did people actually watch the Gaethje vs Khabib fight? Khabib uncharacteristically gave up position to go for a sub because Justin had kicked the absolute crap out of his injured leg.

Khabib edged the first round via a last min takedown and finishing with the arm bar threat. The main difference between their fights is that Charles got dropped before then dropping Gaethje and scoring the sub. Khabib has a chin, but he actually took a shit load of damage in that fight and he really was a few leg kicks away from being severely compromised. It's as impressive as the Charles win was in that Gaethje is a destroyer who you need to outlast to get the finish on.

And you do realize that the vast majority of fans, commentators, and fighters considered that a horrible scorecard right? Khabib out struck justin, kept him on the back foot the entire round, took him down, and almost subbed him. Regardless, Khabib showed far more dominance against Justin than Oliveira did, part of the reason Oliveira finished Gaethje faster is simply because Gaethje was much more willing to engage with Oliveira, against Khabib he was running for his life the entire first round.

God, fans are the worst part of this sport. Both beat the shit out of and stopped Gaethje in ways that fit their fighting styles. We have no idea how their hypothetical fight would go. Why go further than that?

God damn, Charles is a bad dude. All sorts of strikes coming from all angles, off of clinches, scrambles.

I never rewatched this fight.

Olive looks very strong, like he's one weight class higher than Gaethje.

We actually do have an idea, there is no indication that Oliveira would pose a problem for Khabib. He'd get fucked up like all of Khabib's other opponents.

I think both looked amazing vs Justin. People think he is can now that he lost but Justin is elite.

Or he'd blast him with a right hand and knock him the F out. Or he would wrap his neck up like a bow tie and make him tap.

As a massive fan of Khabib, I still have to be honest, If Oliveira gets past Islam, there can no doubt his MMA career outshines Khabib's.

If Islam get's it done, Oliveira still goes down as a great regardless.

That's conjecture. Khabib literally never fought anyone with the combination of power and submissions that Charles has. Charles hasn't fought anyone with the raw strength and positional dominance of Khabib. Neither ever will.
