Francisco Bueno - His name is probably not known to more modern fans, but he was infamously known in my time as the guy who Igor Vovchanchyn faceplanted. He'd won his first fight in PRIDE,but no one ever talks about it. I think after this he never fought in a major promotion again. I remember he had put out some Jiu jitsu instructionals. Had to be a big blow to be known for only this though.

Olaf Alfonso - hes basically only known for his highlight KO losses, and his "fighting jesus" moniker. Guy has literally been killed many times. He also looks like a guy that has been killed that many times. I guess he keeps resurrecting.

Kris Moutinho - He did lose, but it was kind of a bullshit stoppage. He was showing alot of bravery and durability in the fight, but his 15 mins were up real fast.

Cabbage was probably also most known for the beating he took against Tim Sylivia. Fred Ettish is def another one. Alot of the early UFC guys who were one and done belong on here.

Barao - guy was really good destroying Faber at his best but will be known as TJ's victim
Well, the guy was a reigning and defending champion, and if you were around then,he had some time on top where people thought he was a p4p great. He just fell so hard and so fast, that he's largely forgotten today, and thats a shame.

Name one thing that he is more well known for than the Mayweather fight.
Throwing a dolly. Double champ. Arrests.

Life continued on after he lost to Mayweather, and it resulted in the biggest fight in MMA history. No one is ever going to forget all that shit that came after. Im talking about guys who's main achievement in life was getting their ass beat so bad, that its the only thing you think of when you hear their name.

His name should be mentioned with the greats at BW for his peak but he's a joke at this point. Yan seems to already command more respect. I just think he's more of a footnote for TJ's "greatness" instead of his own story.

Yuji Nagata

For having the toughest career start and finish ever: getting his ass whooped by Fedor and Cro Cop in his only two MMA fights

Also Steve Nelmark and John Matua for getting stiffened in iconic poses by Tank Abbott

Kyle Bochniak was a guy people were crazy about his toughness, grit and boxing? but his claim to fame and hype was getting absolutely wrecked by Zabit.
He falls under the Kris Moutinho thing in that he showed real spirit in his loss. He did alot better than Kris though. He didnt just eat it and keep coming. He gave some back too!

So I think he deserves some props.
I'll watch that fight any day.

For a guy with a 1-4 record, Takayama is still very well respected. Nishijima would be another, don't think he ever won an mma boutbut he deserves credit for holding his own against a 280lb+ K1 GP kickboxer in an MMA rules bout.
