Have you ever considered going vegan

Vegetarian yes, vegan no.

Nope. It always seemed illogical. Plus I'm a true animal/nature lover and view humans as a part of it. In my mind, going against what our bodies were designed to be powered by is an affront nature.

Don't torture, and make it quick and humane.
...and I do feel somewhat bad when I get fast food and such.

Could be vegetarian or pescatarian, though.

No because I consider myself the opposite of the Vegans that I know. I also am not 150lb pale weakling with a handlebar mustache and a wear a wool hat in the summer who works at Starbucks.

I've considered going vegan. Worst three seconds of my life.

Do you get grocery store meat?

My diet isn't vegan but my clothes are vegan though

I went vegan for a year and then went back to meat.

Technically, I wasn't really vegan, I was on a whole foods plant based diet.

But because that diet has an absurdly long name it was just easier to say I was vegan.

Anyhoo, it helped me lose weight and all my bloodwork improved. But I abandoned it because my weight loss plateaued, I started noticing muscle loss, and this part might have been mental but I just generally felt weak.

Went back to eating meat and gained about 75% of the weight back, but I feel stronger and generally just better. So I just need to try some other way to lose the beer belly.

What was your protein intake like?

No. I don't see the point beyond vegetarianism.

Also I don't think it matters how you consume, unless you're the mega rich.

Also everything dies, but cattle get some life before being eaten so its a win for them.

I'm basically against unnecessary cruelty. Vegans probably think they're making a difference, that's dangerous because they're not.

I write letters to my mp to encourage legislation and I buy mosquito nets.

What was your protein intake like?

I remember that getting enough protein was always a challenge. I had to get it from black beans and quinoa but every time you eat those your carb intake goes up too.

For a little while I tried a vegan protein powder, but for most of the year I just accepted the fact that I was getting less protein than I used to.

Tried it for 6 months on a bet with the wife. It wasn't terrible but wasn't particularly enjoyable. It's also hard for for people with carb sensitivity as every vegan protein is also fairly carb dense. You also do lose functional strength and performance. I ran a harder cycle of test, npp and dbol when I was doing a vegan diet and I was significantly less stronger than I was just running test on a diet that included meat

What do you think they are doing with cows and chickens? They aren't giving them any supplements?
Of course they do, and that is why I try to stay away from heavily processed products and buy farm-produced meat.

Do you get grocery store meat?

On occasion. I'd say eggs are my most consistent form of protein. Whenever I do buy animal products in store, I aim for the most humane that I can afford. I may not get pasture raised, organic meat, but avoid the Tyson's and Perdue's of the store like the plague.
