Diaz is pushing 38, well past his prime and on the cusp of retirement. He's about 15lbs smaller than Jake Paul. Nate's never had great boxing even for MMA, he coasted so much off of his chin, cardio and pressure. Nates a semi retired journeyman with a big name who's in terms of boxing 2 divisions under Jake Paul. This is the perfect kinda fight for Paul.

What I'm wondering is when will a legit, non washed up, retired, undersized, horribly injured MMA fighter box Jake Paul? I know fans are really stupid but we watched Mike Perry beat arguably a better boxer than Paul in Triad by the name of Mike Seals. Where is the shame at this point? Go box Tumenov or Gregory Rodrigues or something, I don't think Paul wins those.

Great point around Perry although he's also somewhat smaller than Jake. He also beat MVP in bare knuckle. The guy is super tough and keeps moving forward. However if you watch Paul fight he always clinches when he's getting pieced up at close range.

I don't think Diaz has a chance against Jake. Size, age, power all against him.

Nate is old. I don't think he can even take punches anymore. Jake Paul is around 200 lbs. Nate isn't anywhere close to that. Nate looked a little flabby for his last fight at 170. He isn't going to look better with another 20-30 lbs.

Does anyone care about this Paul twat anymore?

Nobody watched him vs Silva so are people finally pulling their heads out of their asses?

God I hope so but then you see threads like this...

Paul is legit. He beat Silva in almost every round, and damn near KO'd him.

jake will murder nate............................sad but true

The only guy on the board who thinks Diaz beats Paul is @Ares Black, who has staked his fight game knowledge (none apparently) by adamantly informing us Paul had ZERO chance against the likes of Askren, Woodley and Silva.

If Paul were an MMA fighter his proper weight class would be 185, Nate's is 155. I doubt Nate can use his swarmer style on a guy that much bigger especially at his age. Fighter's "chins" typically deteriorate over time especially if their style involves taking punches to land their own. For instance Wand, Cerrone and Chuck had really good chins when they were young but not as they got older. Nate hasn't shown too much decline in his ability to take a punch but I doubt he can take a punch as well as he could and Paul is a lot bigger.

Didn't see anything in his bullet points about him getting his ass beat by a journyman for the BMF belt...Paul would knock him out inside of 6 rounds

He was the protagonist against McGregor and then the 4 fights after that.

In pretty much every fight the majority of fans want Nate to win.

Against Conor his fan-backing reached a new level.

McGregor is the biggest PPV star in MMA because people tune in as both fans and haters.

With Nate, people are almost exclusively tuning in because they like him.

With his last fight, against another fan-favorite guy, Tony Ferguson, it became a showcase of Nate vs. the UFC.

Even though he has a lot of losses, he's a genuine guy who refuses to let anything break his mental frame.

He got to leave the UFC on his own terms. On a win. As a superstar who again flipped the MMA world on its head with all the shenanigans. He got to make Khamzat "lose" to him without even fighting him. In one night, he beat Tony, Khamzat, and the UFC.

If he fights Jake Paul and beats him, MMA should just be called Nate Diaz like Naruto is named after the protagonist of the series.
I would say "Anti-Hero" is a better title for Nate.

Anyways, hes not gonna beat Jake in boxing .

The way Diaz fights he will definitely be down 5 rounds before he gets started. Boxing rounds go by fast
