ive almost seen enough in the arizona governors race.

actually you know what? fuck it. ive seen enough. kari lake is going home too. good riddance. go grab rudy and the gang and lose your election 6 or 7 times, maga trash.
I'll let Trump have his daughter's wedding dad stuff for a couple of days. It looked really happy and really lovely. Sometimes nice things are nice.

He's going to have his fake hair pulled back next week. He won't announce he's running for 2024. His watchers will put mittens on his hands so he can't have access to the internet.

Looks like I, along with many others, called it: GOP takes the House, Dems take the Senate. Now, for us non-Americans, what effect will that have on Biden's presidency?

Jill will talk him out of running again. I think he's a really nice person but not fit to run for a second term.

what happens now

A continuation of third-stage Romans 1:18-32.

The GOP was given a clear path to the End Zone. Instead of running the ball in for a TD, they spiked it on the one yard line. And it's made all the worse by the hype about the Red Wave, which was supposed to go Full Namor and drown the Dems in both Houses. Turned out to be not much more than a light shower.

The GOP got fucking hosed and has absolutely zero path to victory in the 2024 POTUS election. If Trump runs, they lose. If DeSantis is made the guy, Trump runs third party out of egotistical spite and they lose.

I agree people don't know how to interpret modeling got caught up in the red wave hype and the GOP did blow it when in previous eras would have walked into the end zone.

Meanwhile, the country's demographic shift continues and the faux hype over Republican voting minorities is total fantasy and myth. Gen Z is about to become a voting bloc to be reckoned with and a majority of the overall cohort is extremely left-wing on 65/35 basis nationwide - young (18-29) black voters kept with tradition and were 90% Dem lean in these midterms, while "socially conservative" hispanics and latinos were 70% in favor of Democrats. The latter have been the primary driver for Arizona flipping damn near full-blown blue within the last three election cycles since 2018.

Your insult does not make my comment any less true.

Women’s number one issue is abortion. They go to extremes to justify abortion, despite such extremes, such as rape an incest, representing a tiny percentage of abortions. They want the abiloty to sleep around and kill their offspring and they go to the polls to protect thar ability.
Funny you bring up those extremes buts it’s cruel to pass laws that you can’t even get an abortion with those extremes. I keep hearing the tiny percentage argument but don’t pass laws or try to pass laws where even if raped or your DAd gives you a go you still can’t get an abortion. Also making women give birth to dead babies makes the GOP lose the high ground on abortion.
Do better and you might win a Presidential popular vote more than once in 30 years.

I'd give you no more than 50/50 odds of him making it to the end of this term, never mind winning a second. As I understand it, the campaigning for a Presidential election is brutal, with a punishing travel schedule across vast swathes of the nation. Biden simply won't have the physical stamina at 82 to withstand that.

Looks like I, along with many others, called it: GOP takes the House, Dems take the Senate. Now, for us non-Americans, what effect will that have on Biden's presidency?

The Republicans will be able to obstruct by a cunt hair, but obstruct they would be able to. Biden won't be able to pass any legislation or spending bills of any policy agenda consequence without control of both chambers. He will still be able to fill vacancies and appoint judges at all levels of the federal judiciary (including SCOTUS should spots open via croak) and the Republicans can do absolutely nothing to stop it.

It's actually pretty damning that the GOP couldn't win the Senate. They are statewide offices decided by popular vote so there's no way to gerrymander them ala House of Representatives districts. However, as you're likely already aware every state in the union gets equal representation with exactly two Senators regardless of population size. So deep red states such as Wyoming (581k), North Dakota (770k) and South Dakota (896k) are on completely equal Senate footing with blue states like California (39.6 million), New York (19.2 million) and Pennsylvania (12.8 million).

This is, again, a great illustration why women should not vote.
Good thing there aren't any single-issue voters who only care about being pro-life or pro-gun. Oh wait, I just described 95% of the Republican base.

AZ sure as fuck isn't going to be banning abortion if Lake loses the gubernatorial to Hobbs. It'll also likely lose 2A constitutional carry depending on the state legislature results, Republicans held mere single seat majorities in both chambers going into the midterms. The state level elections are of far greater consequence than federal offices on these issues. On most issues period, really.

They still need Georgia due to Mancin and Sinema

They still need Georgia due to Manchin and Sinema

Having lived in her former district when she was in the US House of Reps, it was sort of hilarious seeing all the attack ads and rhetoric on Sinema attempting to paint her as some radical leftist wacko when she was running for Senate - because she eats pussy and prefers to swear on the Constitution rather than the Bible? - only for her to throw major monkey wrenches and road blocks at Biden's BBB agenda once elected, progressive psychos were chasing and harassing her into bathroom stalls over that shit. <45>

This is kinda a big deal all around and Manchin seems more reasonable then Sinema but they understand their positions will become more difficult seeing how the country has changed. But Manchin seems reasonable in some ways. But this was a strong rebuff of Trump and his MAGA/Putin movement as people don't want to live in an authoritarian Country where their rights and working conditions will be decided in some corporate board room filled with fat oligarchs, oil tycoons and Wall Street types. Where they could be pulled off the streets beaten or go to war see Russia today.

As someone who can be swayed to either side based on policy that effects me and my principles, honestly I try not to associate with cheerleaders for either side.
I agree. All I ever want is serious candidates, regardless of party. Half the country disagrees with me on a lot of issues, and I just might be wrong sometimes.

MAGA morons and election deniers don’t qualify, though. This election was full of them, they all suck, so I get it.

Oh just heard from a friend of mine "this is interesting" US has begun patrolling the skies over Saudi Arabia at the request of the Saudi government over worries that Iran is potentially thinking of attacking their major oil production operations. The US is using the newly upgraded B-52 bombers and flying with F-18 fighter jets. "I guess they have no interest in putting F-35's on the ground in Saudi Arabia?" I am sure the US would rather not be doing this but because Saudi is a key energy supplier to Europe they have to given they don't want Russia to benefit. Pretty F'd up Saudi Arabia could become a target of Iran while they kiss Putin's butt.

Trumpism lost in 2018, 2020, 2021 and 2022.
When it comes to politics the MAGA brand is basically the Washington Generals.
Please run in 2024, because I can make fun of Loser Trump, losing again. So much losing.
No wonder his brand attracts so many Q-non incels, they are used to losing out on sex. Trump is a loser light that attracts a bunch of loser moths.

It can't be overstated. A skyrocketing cost of living and the highest inflation rate in 40 years alone should've been more than enough to bring on a landslide of historic proportions. Instead, it was the strongest hold and best midterm party performance for a sitting President since John Fucking Kennedy, lol.

The outlook on the GOP's future is extraordinarily grim and made worse by the fact that it does not have a chance in two years if DeSantis isn't allowed to run in a fair one free of Trump sabotage. America on the whole is increasingly rejecting right-wing nationalist politics, that is quite clearly the majority stance. It does not want it.
