I swear, those people have the opportunity to ask questions to guys like Jones and are bland as fuck.MMA journalists with their dumb question phrasing. Who cares if Gane is the best striker Jones has ever faced? Why not just ask if he considers Gane to offer a type a striking he has never faced before...or how he plans to deal with Gane's striking...or if he considers it be a threat at all? These questions would offer way more insight in to Jon's fight prep, his strategy, his mindset, etc.

Thiago Santos is absolutely not a better striker. Before losing his knees to Jones his style was usually very aggressive and powerful which involved him getting very sloppy defensively sometimes. If you count both defense and offense, Gane is easily better striker IMO.
But Machida is for sure a better striker than Gane. If Machida was 6'5" 250 like Gane is he'd have kicked Jones' head into the 2nd row.
I think Ngannou has most effective stand-up in heavyweight history, because of his power and chin, but I reckon Gane has the most technical stand-up in heavyweight history.
He aint wrong...
Gane isnt that accomplished of a striker...hasnt really smoked anyone in the UFC either...
Machida and Santos have better highlights then him IMO
