I'm glad AJ's stock has finally dropped to exactly what it should have been all along, had he not got the absolute gift decision over Savon.

I'd still like to see Wilder flatten him just for fun.

I give AJ a pass because he has the best resume at HW and has taken all the tough fights. He also conducts himself relatively well outside the ring.
He deserves to be a superstar.

Terrible matchmaking. Short fighter who doesn’t want to engage, with what seems like a very good chin.
Cannot understand Hearn putting him in there with Franklin at all.

Why on earth are they still selling whyte? Fury murdered him, franklin got him on points. And now theyre talking about setting aj up with whyte for a rematch.
Horrible pushing

Yeah, fuck Dillian Whyte. He’s done.

Make the AJ vs Fury fight.

no he didnt. He said multiple times Ruiz was a tougher fight.

I heard what he said to hype up the fight. It's why in my post I said 'in his mind he thought' because you don't put your cash cow in with a tougher fighter on one week notice, in response to the above poster who said Franklin was a weird choice for a comeback fight.

AJ isn't the same guy he used to be, doesn't have any confidence anymore

If Franklin hit as hard as me, he’d have got AJ out of there tonight.

AJ landed some mean punches there alongside Franklin but I'm guessing that AJ instinctively knew that Franklin was a tougher cookie than most ppl expected and had that boxing IQ up.

Another challenging fight for AJ. I hope we see that Joshua vs Whyte rematch

When was the last time he fought with confidence?
I think he had more of that "ktfo" attitude before his losses to Usyk, tbh.

Ruiz loss started the whole fight smart Joshua mentality because turning every fight into a tactical brawl sometimes causes even the best fighters to get hit.

To be fair though, Ruiz came in surprisingly good shape and his speed was hardly expected from a HW with that kind of appearance.

Just finished watching this. Turned out to be a pretty decent scrap. Comical little greco/roman match at the end of the 12th.
