You can't really be holding fights with guys like Burns and Usman against a fighter, right?

He went from fighting Li to Gilbert, meanwhile someone like Shavkat actually has to work his way up.

They were also gonna feed him Nate Diaz in one of the most egregious cases of trying to make a name off of another fighter, but he missed weight terribly.

Snoozers like Jake Shields and Jon Fitch are better than the Nigerian NyQuil. Hilarious that welterweight is filled to the brim with lay and pray wrestlers.
Haha, you nailed it there, Usman's title wins are not even quality, they were just T-Wood who went on a 6 fight losing streak against 5 guys, 2 of them were to a YT'er, and in Boxing, and then, against Burns wh's just a gatekeeper and a washed LW, and against Colby who's overrated and only gets Title shots from beating old washed WW's (I wouldn't be surprised that even if he losses to Leon, the UFC would give him Wonderboy to beat him up and gets another 4th undeserved title shot), and Masvidal who's probably the most overrated fighter of all time and an old, washed, Weak Journeyman (Along with Tim Sylvia, Ronda Rousey, Johny Hendricks, Dominick Reyes, Cody Gardbrant, Darren Till...etc)

I wouldn't put money on this fight, it's close.

Prime Usman is better, but this version is 36 and coming off two losses.

Khamzat wrestling is solid, he's bigger and he's probably improved his striking since Burns.

If I had to bet, I'd go with Usman, the money is better.

Makes sense, Khamzat will win and probably with little difficulty.

Zero.

The fight is being targeted for Abu Dhabi where there is no athletic commission, so the UFC gets to conduct their own weigh-ins.

They even announced Chimaev's weight as 166 lbs there until a reporter called them out on it.

This clown is a joke. Can't make weight so i guess every fight will have to be in Abu Dhabi if he ever becomes champ.

This is big, big step up in competition for Khamzat. I have to go with Usman. Will place wager and return with bet slip in near future.

his fights are so short to see the improvement. I'm hoping he mauls right through usman, but this is a big step up

Not a fan of either one of these two, but I think Marty gets beat by hazmat then by Jake Paul after that.

No I mean that the Burns fight was a while ago and I'd assume that Khamzat's striking has improved since then.

I'm hoping Usman wins.

This is not a smart fight to bet on.

Usman all day if that fight happens, which is why it probably wont

Usman keeps its standing in think he's definitely got a REALLY good chance, but who stays standing with Khamzat?

Usman is old and lost that aura of invincibility. But If Chimaev goes through a horrible weight cut, that would give Usman a sudden advantage. Plus, it would be a considerable jump in competition for Chimaev. Had you told me 2020-2021 Usman was going to fight Chimaev, I would have picked Usman to decimate him without any doubt. It’s up in the air in 2023, though.

Even in Colby’s situation, he largely just beat whatever was available. All of the top guys were old. Tyron was already 34 when he beat Robbie, who was also 34. Tyron defended against 34 year old Wonderboy, 39 year old Maia, and a vastly overranked Till. Masvidal and Burns were old when given title shots. Es normal.

Wait, what? Is this fight official?
