Over the years I've had the opportunity to meet many fighters. When the UFC was going lots of shows in Canada between 2008 to 2015 many of the guys would go out. I work in nightlife so we'd get to host many of the UFC guys. I'll try and think of everyone who I've met. We had everyone from mega stars to the lesser known guys.

Wanderlei, Couture, GSP, Hendo, Cain, Tito, Overeem, Usman, Royce, Rashad, Cormier, Cowboy, Bader, Frank Shamrock, Thiago Alves, Cote, Koscheck, Fitch, Marquart, Gray Mayanrd, Pat Barry, Jake Shields, Mark Munoz, Brendan Schaub, Mitrione, Carlos Newton, David Louaseu, Raphael Assuncao, Sam Stout, Jonathan Brookins, Elias Theodoreau, Sean Pearson.

Nice thing is I have a album of photos with all the guys.

Not too many.

Ronda— met her at a signing when she was Strikeforce champ, she was very cool actually.

Frank Mir— very cool dude, I met him after Fedor lost to Bader the first time, he engaged me in a cool conversation about what Fedor should do next, who he should fight next, where his skills were at, etc.

Sergio Pettis— we actually set next to each other on a flight, so I purposely didn’t say shit until we landed because I didn’t want to annoy the poor guy. We had a brief chat as we de-planed though. Showtime was on the flight too, but they didn’t sit anywhere near each other. When we got off, Sergio stood at the baggage claim and got all their bags while Showtime just disappeared out the front door. Very odd.

Dillashaw—I’m not a fan, so I really didn’t talk to him. My girl wanted a pic with him lol. He took the pic, but seemed kind of inconvenienced by it.

Not a fighter, but met Fedor’s manager Jerry Millen, who was actually pretty cool. I expected him to be a mega douche, so that surprised me.
 
Only one's I had spoke to were Anthony Johnson, Cyborg (female & male), Florian, James Toney, Freddie Roach, Antonio Tarver. But I've seen a few of them up close but didn't say anything (Carwin, Condit, Lister, Royce, Karo, Tyson Griffin, Guida, Rockhold, Uriah Hall)
 
Nope. I'd like to one day just for the experience; dunno if that sounds weird. Only fighter I've met was some guy who absolutely tuned me up during rolling sessions (or Open Mat, can't recall which it was) at my old BJJ gym. I mean he fucking toyed with me before finally putting me out of my misery and the entire time I feel like I'm stuck in a clothes dryer on a spin cycle. Afterward someone else offhandedly called out from across the mat "Oh yeah, that guy's an MMA fighter."

I was like "Oh... that makes sense." Dude seemed friendly enough, if a bit aloof. Never got his name, though I assume he was an ammy fighter or from the regional pro scene.

I had a friend at the time that was training at his gym in Fresno. I went in one day and we ran into him in the hallway. He couldn't have been any less personable. When we asked him very cordially about his next opponent (Daly) he got all weird and started saying "Who? Who the fuck are you talking about?" We moved on quickly from this egotistical fool. Not impressed, worst celebrity meeting ever.
