Fighters you have met in real life?

"I could very well take the sub par wrestling pereira to a uninanimous decision, case given there are certain deadly techniques which i cannot use in the octagon."....the gun again? Lol

Keep on mocking me and Mestre John Hess from S.A.F.T.A.
I guess you re not familiar with the touch of death technique

Met so so many. Fedor, Anderson, gsp, Liddell, bisping, couture, rampage, Jones and alot more

Gonna go out on a limb and say that this is true...

What was he like back in the day?
Yeh hence my username Storm Gym haha. Trained with him in 2011. He was always arrogant and gave off psychopath vibes lol. Started pimping and getting rich around 2014/2015

Was he any good? How did he stack up vs other people in the gym?

What about Lee Murray? Was he before your time?

Always wondered about Storm Gym - was there any particular list of achievements needed to join up? Did you get rookies coming in? Some notorious characters came out of there - what was the atmosphere like? Coaches must have been really good... Any stand out stories or moments about Tate or anyone interesting?

I don't think Lee Murray ever trained at Storm? Tate was the best fighter in the gym. He's really good. Yeah he might not be Izzy level but he was definitely one of the best in the UK.

They have begginers, intermediate and fighter classes. I used to do some of the fighter classes but never actually fought. They were a bit too much for me lol

London Shootfighters only. You're right. I thought he spent some time in Luton too, my mistake.

I work in Luton a few times per year, and its a really easy place to get into a lot of trouble.

Tate is such a character... Idgaf about his videos, or haters, its just really interesting to watch from the outside... I figured he would have been pretty good, but not the best in the gym... Although its not hard to imagine him leaving the gym, going home, and keep repeating everything there in his lounge with some home-invasion porn playing on the TV...

How are we defining meeting? Technically I met Rapage, Big Tim and Mack Danzig at a UFC 79 signing. Met Evan Tanner (RIP) while he was just hanging out taking pics with fans.

Marcus Davis, nice enough guy. His daughter set me up with my wife

Gastellum - gentlemen
Faber - Gentlemen

a couple others too from the first ultimate fighter series and also others. All were true champions, like the above mentioned.

Who have you met if any and who would you like to meet?

Khabib, Adesanya, Nate Diaz, McGregor. Also Poirer is a top class fellow.

Chimave too. Crazy mofo.

Wendel Clark. Best mullet ever.

He could teach gnp and end the crotch sniff Era.

I've met both Okami and Jushin Thunder, both were Huge! (in my eyes)

A skinny WW

A few here and there over the years, mostly crew from 10-15 yrs ago when I was helping out at regional shows.

Elvis, Hector Lombard, Perosh, Brandon Vera, Frank Shamrock, Kyle Noke and a few other Aussies.

I grew up around Alliance MMA and met Domonik Cruz. He used to get yogurt from a shop I worked at circa 2006. Also Brandon Vera would coach a lot of the classes as well.

Went to a Nate Diaz after party for his fight with Anthony Pettis and chopped it up for a bit.

More recently i ran into Rocco Martin gambling away some pretty ridiculous parlays somewhere in the 5k - 7k range and thought he looked way too small for 170. I was like so you’re cutting to 145 and he was like…. Na… lol kind of insulted

Talked to Dede Pederneiras once while Aldo was taking some photos after he gave a speech at a company's convention that I was working for at the time.

Was right about the time Aldo was trying to get the fight with Pettis. I talked about it with Dede, he said they were negotiating with the UFC and I said that Pettis would be a hard fucking fight, what he tought of it. He just gave me a "bitch, please" look, lol. Too bad it never happened.

I’ve met Tito, cool guy.

Cro cop. Also cool guy.

randleman, cool guy who bought me a drink! After I offered him a drink. RIP.
Worst one was Bob Sapp.

he came off cool and friendly at first, it’s a long story I’d rather not get into, it was my birthday too, let’s just say he left me hanging. Fuck him. Just an overall selfish dude.

Let me guess, he promised to do some stuff for ya since it was your birthday, but then never showed up?

I actually met Khamzat in Sweden at an MMA expo before he was signed to the UFC.

He was walking around and I went up to him to say I was a fan, etc. (I had been following his career) He was really nice and we talked for a while. He actually started asking me about my life and what I do, how I like my job and stuff. I was telling him about how hot it gets during the Summer session and he takes his full bottle of protein shake and pours it onto my head, completely ruining my shirt. He then looks me straight in the eye and says, "how could you possibly think that someone like me could like someone like you, bratha"? Then, he took a picture with his phone, laughed, and walked away.

if thats true.. i would have bided my time and when he wasnt looking i would broke something over his head... doochebag
